I Know this is a Short story, but it felt incomplete, several somethings missing, and since it did have the background for development i don't understand why it wasn't.

This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I really liked Lucy. I liked that she knew what she wanted and went after it. She wasn’t whiney of annoying. I liked the scenes of her and Leif together; my only disappointment was that there wasn’t enough scenes of them together for my liking. I felt like because there was so much action going on, the romance got pushed a side.
I loved that Lucy stood up to Gabriel. She loved him and the pack but she wasn’t willing to give Leif up. She wanted her unborn baby to know its father. I liked that she was willing to give everything up for her mate.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

Mmm... talk about a bit of Se*y, Yummy, Alpha HOTness! Let me wring my panties out real quick...
Who hasn't fantasized about getting it on with a long lost Viking GOD, but seriously, mixing the Legend with immortal Weres is absolutely genius on Gwen Knight's part & makes a fabulous story. Let me also tell you that's not the only surprise in store for your reading pleasure here either, but I'm not giving any more hints ;) ;)

I really love when a short read offers the perfect escape after everything's done, but there's only a while before bed... or maybe I need a quick read I can listen to while riding the bus, doing chores, or crafting... you get the point!! This book is perfect!! It's a great feel good read for those Calgon moments... it's absolutely wonderful!
I was gifted an ARC of Gwen Knight's "A Baby for the Viking Wolf: Howls Romance" via Booksprout; however, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits. I enjoyed this book as this short story is on par, & I'll look forward to more opportunities to read Gwen's work in the future. Being a huge fan of this author's work I was excited to read this book and as usual with this author's books I was most definitely not disappointed!!! Omg, I adored this book!!!!
This is a storyline that just makes you want to read on, it is so addictive, the more that you read, the more you want to know in this storyline that is filled with pain and passion, fear and longing as well as thrilling action and surprises, this combination of elements makes this story such a page Turner!!! Ihave always loved stories about Vikings so this is definitely as aspect of this book I loved, there was so much about this story I loved!!! This author is do talented to be able to create a tale with so much warmth and depth, that readers can't get enough of it and j can guarantee that once a reader reads this story they will want to read this author's other work!!!
Leif is such a brilliant character to read about, you can feel his age through his mannerisms and his protective instincts to care for those he loves and those weaker than himself. He is extremely passionate in his beliefs whether its love or rage and he expresses both throughout this story. One of the things that I adored about Lucy is the fact that she doesn't see herself as strong but this book proves that strength doesn't just come from outer strength, inner strength is just as powerful! She is extremely caring and has a huge heart, with the ability to love even though she thinks that she doesn't want that. She is loyal and will do anything to protect those that she cares about even if she is terrified.
This book is simply amazing!!! I can't recommend this book highly enough and it is definitely well worth 5*!!!!!

A Baby for the Viking Wolf
Lucy is a party girl. No mate for her, she just wants to love ‘em and leave ‘em. When Lucy’s best friend, Reagan cannot attend a Bachelor Auction Society Event, Lucy is sent instead. Lucy is excited to bid on a man and have a little fun. She meets a handsome hunk of man in Leif Erikson. They go back to his hotel room for some explosive and mutual fun. Leif gives Lucy his cell number but Lucy being the party girl she is does not give him hers and she leaves without saying goodbye the next morning.
Flash forward about three months and our party girl has a positive pregnancy test. She and Leif used protection, she knows they did. Lucy starts to freak out and texts her bestie. Reagan and Jerrik come over to calm Lucy down and talk about her situation. She tells Reagan and Jeffik about this handsome Norwegian she met, named Leif. Jerrik goes ballistic. It cannot be his long dead friend.
Lucy calls and arranges for Leif to meet her at her apartment to tell him her news. Reagan and Jerrik are there to support her and to confront Leif. Then things get interesting. Vampires have attacked and killed a werewolf named Marie. Reagan and Jerrik blame Leif for bringing vampires from Europe to their clan.
What will happen to Lucy and her new pregnancy? Will Leif want to be involved? What about the vampires?
This is a page turner. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wished for more.

If you read the first book, “My Viking Wolf,” you know about Lucy. She is Reagan’s bestie. She was sent in Reagan’s place to the charity event. What you do for a friend. Lucy planned to find herself a bachelor to bid on at the auction and have some fun. But she found something better. Leif was there at the event to meet an old friend. However, when he spied Lucy, he had to have a taste. One explosive night changed everything. You see, 11 weeks later Lucy only sees 2 pink lines, pregnant. Now what can she do?
I love that Jerrick and Reagan are back again. But now we have a new wolf that is the same age as Jerrick, plus they are “old friends.” Leif is as charming and handsome as any Viking Wolf can be. And now he is in the mix with Lucy and a baby on the way. But we also have more issues, like vampires. Boy oh boy, you would have thought and assassination attempt on Reagan was bad but now we have vamps here to take out Leif and maybe the entire pack. I love it! We get hot wolves, hot sex, and fighting, what more can you ask for.

Leif & Lucy
Lucy is a party girl and she was ready to have fun with the drop dead gourges man she just met. Their chemistry was through the roof and she wasn't going to let it go to waste. Eleven weeks later she is shocked to realise there was consequences from that red hot encounter. After Lucy left the next morning without saying goodbye Leif was biding his time until he would get his fated mate where he wanted her, in his bed. He had it all planned out! What he didn't planed was the impending fatherhood. He was going to be a daddy! But he couldn't enjoy the news just yet. There was vampires in town, and he and his family were their targets. Fast paced, full of action, adventure and romance. I wish I could say Leif is a great alpha H but I don't think his character had time to develop. He came on a mission of vengeance but hat didn't develop at all as well as his relationship with Lucy. However this was a page turner that keep me up until the early hours. Highly recommended

Right off this was a delight to read and refreshing for me in this genre especially since I had not really been tempted by the genre lately. Also loving history this has that touch on the spin of the characters that caught my eye also that made this the delight. Thanks to the life span these men will charm the hearts but capture only their mate with you right along with it. Since I missed the first one but it is on the tbr list it does give me enough that not confused and still able to disappear into Lucy and Leif's story. Thanks to her best friend and could say sister Reagan she gets to collide with one hunk that the time heats up quick with lasting results you could say. The story moves quickly with you nose to them. Drama also comes with it having a great suspense twist with the romance. Anguish towards the end that quickly turns with me being left completely satisfied.

Lovely addition to the last Viking Wolf book. Lucy is best friends with Reagan(heroine from the last book). When Reagan couldn't attend a charity auction, Lucy took her place.
At the auction she met Leif, who is a wolf who is Nordic. Time passes since their one night with her not contacting him at all. Then she finds out that she is pregnant. Now she has to deal with telling him a couple months later.
Lucy and Reagan find out from Jerrick that Leif is a thousand years old wolf just like him. They also discover that vampires are back in America and have attacked and killed a member of the pack.
There are definitely conflicts happening in this book. I really enjoyed reading about the new couple while catching up with the last. This is a recommended read.

Lucy is a professional party girl and excels at love'em & Leave'em...until two pink lines changes everything. Now what was she gonna do? Freak out to her best friend? Check. Track down her baby daddy? Check. Find out said baby daddy is a blood wolf who chases vampires for a living? Che...wait...what?? Looks things just got very complicated.
I loved Lucy and Leif. And Reagan and Jerrik (from My Viking Wolf - which I recommend reading first) are there to help out as well. Add in a little danger from vampires and some emotional angst and you have a good, quick read.

Emotionally Charged Paranormal Love Story
This really is a super story to read on a Sunday afternoon. Full of instant attraction, passion, friendship, family and tears from hormones. I do have to admit I had a lump in my throat on a couple of occasions as the story of Lucy & Leif unfolded with each flick of the page. The pace was consistent so I was entertained from start to finish. Even though this was a book in a series, the author managed to weave the previous story into this one without captivating too much attention away from A Baby for the Viking Wolf. A definite download with reading.

Trust me you will Love it
Once again I found another story I just could not put down. I was so unto the story I was actually having butterflies in my stomach wondering what was going to happen. I loved all the twists and turns that kept me on my toes. You even had me crying a little bit.
I just love it when my emotions come I to play while I am reading a book. My only wish was more on the relationship of Jerrik and Leif and the mending process. But even without it, it was still a beautiful story.

The last thing Lucy expected to find out was that she was carrying a baby. She considers her self a professional party girl, but here she is. First logical thing to do is text your bff so she can can calm you down a bit and help plan. Things from there get a bit sticky. love the journey that takes place in this story. Lucy is sure that she isn't ready to be a mom, and yet when push comes to shove she will do anything it takes to keep her little nugget safe. Love this world and would love to see Gabriel maybe find a new sense of peace even if he never finds another mate like his first love.

A Baby for the Viking Wolf finds play girl Lucy with an unplanned pregnancy. Leif was something special, but not enough to make her change her ways. Or was he? This quick afternoon read takes you away into this world of wolves and vamps, but also reminds us even condoms aren't 100% reliable. And even play girls have to grow up. All of the "feels" are here as Lucy has to reevaluate and fight for her life.

This book was fun and romantic all at once.

Okay enough read but I do suggest reading HER VIKING WOLF first.
Lucy gets pregnant from one of her numerous one night stands.
The baby daddy ends up having old ties to Jerrik, the hero from the above book.
Reagan is also in this and we get vampires causing a pack members death.
Gabriel acts like an A** but I have to say I thought Reagan was also a bit off in her attitude at first.
You really don’t get much interaction between Lucy and Leif unless you count their one night of sex.
Leif has actually targeted Lucy to get to Jerrik but that is all okay as they are mates.

This was a cute short story. Leif met Lucy at a special event. Lucy ended up having a one night stand and left with Leif number. She never called him until she had to. I wish it was a longer book but esp. for the price but you do get a good story because before I knew it it was done. You need to read the first book, My Viking Wolf.

An excellent short story of Lucy and Leif as they interact and their one night stand turns into a baby. They go through many twists and turns as they interact. Reagan and Jerrik also make an appearance in this story that has hot wolves, hot sex and also fighting. I enjoyed this story.

A sexy and fun read that offers plenty of drama, steam, action, passion, romance, and danger. Toss in Viking werewolves, vampires, and a surprise pregnancy and you have a very good read. I am posting a honest, voluntary review.

Loved it
I love the Howls Romance series and Gwen Knight is a wonderful writer so I knew I would enjoy this book a lot. The book sweet and romantic but with drama and a great action seen. A must read for any shifter Romance lover

I really enjoyed Lucy and Leif's story after reading the first book in the series I could not wait to read this and it did not disappoint it was well written with a good storyline that held my interest and kept me reading.It was a great hot and at times fun read a must read for all shifter fans.

This is a sexy paranormal shifter romance that grabs on right at the beginning and doesn't let go until the Happily ever after. I really enjoyed this story, it was unique and very well plotted.

Wish it was just a few chapters longer. This 2 book series is fast paced. I loved Lucy - I will read more from this author. I like the humor she has in these books too. I read both books in the same day
