I found this to be an enjoyable read. An entertaining plot was well paced and keeps your interest. The characters have good chemistry. The storyline offers some drama and humor. Join Tara and Cong as a random encounter starts a chain of events that gives them a chance at love that neither was looking for. I'm posting a voluntary review after reading an advance copy of this book.

I read this book a few months ago. Loved it, even though contemporary romance isn't what I tend to read the most of. I believe the cover has changed on Amazon.

No spelling mistakes
Appears to be edited
Formatted correctly
Lovely writing style, especially the use of showing and the depth of emotions

What I loved the most - apart from the incredibly sexy, alpha billionnaire, was Cong's backstory. It wasn't what I expected when I was first introduced to him. Tara seems to a lovely young woman who's recent hurt makes her apprehensive of trusting another man.

And I loved the fact that the male love interest is East Asian (Chinese, to be specific). I hardly ever see Asian male love interests, so that is a definite bonus for me.

This is the first time I have read any of this authors’ work, and it will certainly not be the last. Tara is a heartbroken woman who is running from a bad relationship, and Zheng is an opinionated and brooding man. There is intense chemistry between them, but will Tara be convinced to lower her walls in order to have another relationship? No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed!

I enjoyed Tara and Cong's story. It's a fairly quick read that is emotional and beautifully developed. Tara is a heartbroken women that runs to Macau to escape her ex. Cong has become a large success and raised above where he came from. These two meet and have a journey that interesting and woven nicely. The chemistry is amazing. This is a very captivating read from beginning to the beautiful ending.

This is the 1st book I've read written by L.S. Slayford; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I loved Tara and Cong's romance. Both characters had distinct personalities, strengths and weaknesses that made for an engaging read. The setting of Macau was beautiful and the descriptions were vibrant. Highly recommend.

First time reading anything by this author. Once I started I could not put it down. Betrayed and cheated on. Tara is not paying attention, she bumps into Cong. Loved the story about these two.

This book is a good quick read. The few grammatical mistakes were easy to over look as the story took over. It was predictably good.
