As someone else pointed out, this is old-school criticism, with a free, confident discussion of the works in question but few direct quotations (compared to the current scholarly style). The first section, where Robert discusses Cervantes' persona as the "quixotic observer" and Don Quixote as the "quixotic imitator," is the most suggestive.
