I've read a few homesteading/gardening books like this. Sadly they all tend to share the same problem. It's great to have some tips and tricks that you have learned throughout the years, but the book can't be nothing but tips and tricks. There has to be some kind of substantive "these are the five basic principles of gardening" or "here are the 10 things that will always bring ba good yield." By contrast "here are the 6,527 randomly assorted tidbits of gardening info you need to remember" is not useful.
