God hears us when we pray; no doubt about that. I don't think there's any secret formula for making Him hear us "more." But, there's something special about praying the words of the Bible directly. Maybe it's because those are the words He recorded for us as His own voice to us. When we're praying and are at a loss for what to say, it's always a good idea to go directly to the Bible for inspiration. That's the idea behind "Praying God's Promises: The Life-Changing Prower of Praying the Scriptures."

Author Linda Evans Shepherd sets up this book into 27 themed chapters: heaven, purpose, faith, troubles, blessings, etc. In each, she begins with a story from either her life or the life of someone she knows. These are all well-written and enjoyable to read, and motivating because each presents an example of God really coming through in a wonderful way through prayer. In one chapter, she talks about a friend she prays with, and notes that when they first began praying, their prayers were based more on worry than on faith. As they dove in a prayed, though, the prayers morphed into, "Lord, the battle is yours."

The second part of each chapter is a series of Bible verses, first quoted verbatim, and then re-worded so that we're making them personal for us. For instance: "The Lord will bless you and watch over you. The Lord will smile on you and be kind to you. The Lord will look on you with favor and give you peace." Followed by: "You, Lord, are blessing me and watching over me. You smile on me with lovingkindness. You give me favor and peace."

Sometimes the prayers and verses seemed so similar and short as to hardly be worth paraphrasing (for instance, "The one who loves us gives us overwhelming victory in all these difficulties" -- "You love me and give me overwhelming victory in all my difficulties"). Still, the idea is good and I think it gives me a new way to meditate on scripture when I read it: personalize verses to me. It does give them a new feel.

As is typical when I read most any book, my mind takes over and makes things more difficult. An instance in this book is that, when I read the Bible and see a promise, I automatically think, "Is this promise made to me? Or to an Old Testament King? Or to Elisha?" etc. Also maybe, "Is this an actual promise, or more like a truism found in Proverbs -- something that's true as a general rule but not all the time?" But author Shepherd mentions none of that. The book seems to suggest hey, if it's in the Bible, claim it and go for it! Maybe that's correct and okay; I really don't know. It's certainly a much easier and less stressful way to live life and pray! Or maybe, if you feel like a promise is made to you, will God honor that feeling? See what I mean? Ugh. I just don't know. But still, I enjoyed this book and enjoyed reading it slowly (one short chapter each day) as inspiration for prayer.

Hi Friends! I normally don’t post about religious books, but I was sent Praying God’s Promises as part of a Blind Tour with @justreadtours. This is not a book I would have picked but sometimes things come in to your life just when you need them. I researched that the author, Linda Evans Shepherd, is a best selling author and has over 35 books! .

I have had a lot of serious things going on in my life the few years and having hope and faith is something that I cling to. No matter what you believe in or your religion, life is hard! I think the biggest struggle for most of us, is that we are afraid to ask for help. Sometimes something as small as a book can be helpful in a big way. .

This book isn’t one that I have quickly read cover to cover, it is one that I have picked up and read a chapter here and there. To give you an idea some of the chapters are titled- Direction, Faith, Hope, Joy, Peace, Purpose and Strength.

This is an amazing book, practical book on prayer. I’ve already been encouraged and strengthened by reading this book, and I am learning to pray the Scriptures in a new way. I like how this book is divided into more than twenty different sections: Comfort; Direction; Hope; Protection; Provision; Strength; and many more. Each chapter has a devotion from the author that, along with her personal illustrations, help focus the reader on each topic.

This book is in my shelf so that I use it during my prayer/devotional time, and I know it will be a help to me for years to come. I give this book five stars.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I liked reading the introduction from the author and her personal story how prayer and scripture helped her during a trip. I truly believe this is the case, however, I feel that there has to be an element of faith and belief-not just reading a scripture and praying. Sometimes our prayers are not answered right away or burdens lifted quickly if at all; but constant prayer and scripture reading will help us be accepting of our life journey and experiences.

Each chapter includes stories, insight, scriptures and "I agree" sentences. The chapters include things like faith, blessings, troubles, peace, protection, etc. There are 27 total chapters. This would make a great gift or scripture study companion book.

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

I tried to sit and read this through, but that really isn’t how it should be read. Taking each section and focusing on that section when you need it or have the urge, desire or calling to read it are probably the best ways to read this book. It’s really wonderful reading the scripture the goes with each aspect of life when it’s needed. The author also has suggested prayers for each scripture, which you can either take and pray yourself or compound on them.

While nonfiction books really aren’t my thing, I did enjoy this book. I liked that it was broken down into different topics and that each one had biblical references. I also like the idea of adding a bit of scripture to prayer.

"Praying God's Promises" is a book that lists a lot of God's promises that are in the Bible. For each of the promises listed out by Scripture there is an agreement / declaration written out so the reader can speak of that promise to God through prayer. The promises are divided into chapter topics and then categories within some of the chapters making it easy for readers to come back to find those promises listed when they need to. Some of God's names are listed in a Name above All Names section at the end of the stories in each chapter before God's promises are listed which are related to the topics which tie into to the chapter topics also.

I don't recall coming across a book like this before; it actually encourages me to bring the promises up to God while in prayer for certain things. What I found interesting is that not the same Bible translation is always used for the Scriptures that are shared; one Scripture uses the NIV version while another uses another translation such as NLV, ESV, GW, etc. Some translations are used more than once though. I also found it interesting that at some places of the book Linda explained stories that someone else shared with her about something great that God did and she would wonder if they mentioned a certain Scripture when praying about certain people that the great things happened to and I think I recall the answer always being yes.

A highlight for me was when I came across Psalm 72 in the story before one of the sections of promises in chapter 3 were highlighted about the needy, the poor, and those who need help to be rescued (Psalm 72:12). And also Hebrews 13:16 in the promises section in the same chapter about doing good for others and sharing with those in need. That was important to me because I hope to see more people defending the poor, the needy, and those that need help in the future.

I have used one of Linda's books a lot called "When You Need a Miracle" so it felt like another blessing to read this book too. I have prayed one of the sets of prayers in "When You Need a Miracle" nearly every day for almost a decade now when I have dealt with spiritual warfare about something I had no control over and didn't understand. So since that book has helped me through that part of my life I believe this one will help with another part of it with me sometimes needing to mention Scripture promises when I talk to God in prayer.

I received this book free for the purpose of reviewing it. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions expressed are my own.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, as I had never heard of Linda Evans Shepherd before. I really liked the introduction where Linda talks about God being a God of promises and the story she shared of a time when God answered her prayers in a big way.

Each chapter starts with a relevant verse, open with a quote from an author or speaker, and then Linda shares a story of answered prayer from her own life or a friend's life. Then she teaches about one of the names of God before the list of what she calls "The Promise Garden of ______" (each chapter is a different topic: hope, joy, breakthrough, protection, salvation, troubles, etc.). The teaching part of the chapter ranges from one to three pages, and the topics are in alphabetical order. There are 27 chapters/topics. The list of verses in each chapter includes the sections "Your Word says:" (scripture verses) and "I agree" (a short prayer right after the scripture). Each chapter ends with the same prayer.

I really, really appreciate the introductory part of each chapter and the list of verses for each topic. Shepherd makes it really easy to find God's promises about hope, for example, on a day when you need God's hope. The "I agree" under each scripture is a good starting point for prayer, but I found it often felt very short or like I was just repeating the scripture. Not a problem, but not really what I wanted I guess.

My major hang up with this book is that Linda Evans Shepherd teaches that "his promises are often activated by our willingness to say yes to him" (p. 15). I have a problem with idea that all we have to do is claim it, and God will give us what we ask for. Maybe my issue is with the word "activate." I have a hard time with God's promises being dependent on us. God is faithful to his promises even when we don't know about them, so I just can't get on board with that terminology, I guess.

The first time Shepherd addresses the fact that God doesn't always give us what we pray for is in the chapter on joy, which is more than half way through the book. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer and that God answers prayer, but I also know he doesn't always answer the way we would like. I wish she would have addressed this earlier and in more detail.

Overall, I find the book to be helpful and will use the list of scriptures to guide my prayers when I'm dealing with particular issues.

This is not really a book that I would sit down and read for pleasure. It is more, a book to be used for encouragement in certain situations, and I think that the author has done an outstanding job of covering all the possible life stresses. I was particularly impressed by how well organized the book is and how the author seems to have taken the time to meditate on all of the applicable scriptures, compiled them and presented them in a way that is helpful to her readers. Although I don’t consider this a book to be read in a sitting or two, it is definitely one to keep alongside your Bible, to refer to when you are encountering challenges in life that require that you hold on to God’s promises for things like His provision, His faithfulness and His strength. God is able is the theme of this beautifully well-written book. This book should be considered your little helper and encourager to get through the trials of daily life. I like how the author presented that you yourself could pray the Scriptures, no matter what verse of the Bible you are using. This book is a primer in how to do so, as each Scripture that is presented is done with a following explanation of applying it to yourself.

Praying God’s Promises - The Life-Changing Power of Praying the Scriptures by Linda Evans Shepherd is the fifth book that I have read and review by Ms. Shepherd. I continue to be in awe of her grasp of Scriptures. In this book, Ms. Shepherd reminds us that our God is a God of promises; and these promises are for us, His children, we need only to know how to pray these promises. As she says in the Introduction of this book, “God’s promises are about drawing you ever nearer to Him so that He can lavish His love upon you.”

Through 27 chapters or “Promise Gardens” as she calls them, Ms. Shepherd brings us the promises in the Scriptures, and then leads the reader through a powerful prayer experience about each promise of God. In this prayer, we declare each promise so that the power of God can ignite the promise in your life.

The topics of the “Promise Garden of Answered Prayers” include: Blessings, Answers to Prayer, Breakthroughs, Children, Comfort, Healing, Hope, Peace and a couple dozen more. I truly enjoyed this book. It has served as a reminder of the all of the promises God has given His children and that all I need do is ask and believe. I would encourage you to pick up this book and spend some quiet time reminding yourself of just how much you are loved by a good and gracious God that wants to shower His children with answered prayers.

Praying God’s Promises: The Life-Changing Power of Praying the Scriptures is a Christian non-fiction book about prayer.

As you can see from the title, it’s topic is to pray God’s promises in the Scripture back to God and how that can change your life. After the introductory chapters, each chapter is devoted to a topic (e.g. comfort, children, joy, success). And the chapters have some paragraphs explaining the topic, verses that explain what God says about it, and a short prayers after the verses.

I had mixed feelings about this book. The chapters that talk about what God says on certain topics that we might struggle with are a pretty good index to have. And I love the topic, because I think praying, and remembering and claiming as we do so, God’s promises is great.

But some of the stuff in the introduction didn’t seem right. The author prayed God’s promises and God answered, as the author explained. Except, the “promises” that she used as examples weren’t exactly promises. For example, one was taken out of Psalm 91 and talks about how God will keep them from getting sick. Which, yes, the verse says that, but it doesn’t say, “God promises that you will never get sick.” So how is it a promise? It is a verse that says God Can keep us from getting sick, but it isn’t a promise that He always will. Compare it to other Scriptures or look at it in context. I appreciate that God answered the author’s prayer to keep her from getting sick for a short time, but if that is the example, it could potentially mislead readers to believe “promises” that aren’t real. Has the author done a thorough study on the context of each verse she added to the lists in this book so that she know they are truly promised to every believer? Most of them seem pretty good, but I don’t know about all of them. And I also hope that readers won’t think that these prayers are a magical formula to make God do what they want Him to. God is a person and impossible to manipulate.

I got so irritated with it within the Introduction and first chapter that I quit reading. I was a student at a Bible college, studying the Bible and how to correctly interpret it. And I didn’t like the book because the Scripture in it didn’t appear to be interpreted correctly. Of course, I didn’t read all of it, so some of it could be just fine. If you want to take a chance on it, be my guest.

I received a complementary copy of this book. All opinions are my own, and I am not obligated to provide a positive review.

Around the time I met my wife, Tanya, she had always told me that praying God's promises -- by scripture verse was not simply a good idea, but also activated God's presence in your life. I know that's way before this book was published by Revell, but there's a lot of truth to praying God's promises so it comes as no surprise Linda Evans Shepherd wrote this book just for that reason: to help those of us, like myself to focus better on the person of God and who He is. She says this and I've heard it said myself, "It's all about who you know."

At the same time, it's all about who knows you, too. How can God be present in your life if you don't first see your need for Him? We're told in His word, "Then the eyes of the blind will be opened
and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer and the mute tongue will shout for joy. For waters will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground will become a pool, the thirsty land springs of water" (Isaiah 35:5-7a, Berean Study).

This was fulfilled when Jesus said the same thing in answer to his cousin, John the Baptist, if He was the one sent from God: "The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor" (Matthew 11:5, New Living Translation). In this day and age we have the gift of God's Spirit for it was promised to Isaiah by God Himself, "For waters will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground will become a pool, the thirsty land springs of water." It's a promise made for those who are tired and are restless under the hard pressures of life, looking for a God who heals.

He does! And so much more as well. His greatest desire for you isn't to simply know His word, securing fast to His promises. No, He wants you to know Him, to make Him your Strong Tower, a Shield, and even a Rampart where He can keep watch over you in all things. So, while we can and should pray His promises as Linda suggests we ought to do, we can stand on the promises in His word that He will do what He says He will do.

I received a complimentary copy from Revell in good faith so as to give an accurate and unbiased opinion of this book.

“Praying God’s Promises: The Life-Changing Power of Praying the Scriptures” by Linda Evans Shepherd is the type of resource that you can return to again and again, obtaining different insight and wisdom from it during varying seasons of life. Published by Revell in the summer of 2018, this little volume is overflowing with Scripture-based prayer-starters, practical applications, inspiring bits of wisdom, and ideas for personal reflection to help readers learn how to pray through the promises that God has given us in His Word.

“Praying God’s Promises” is organized by topic, ranging from Direction, Faith, and Healing, to Relationships, Strength, and Worship. Each chapter opens with an introductory story or devotional-type reading, then moves into what the author calls The Promise Garden. This section is organized into a format that begins with; Your Word Says (and then a Bible verse), followed by: I Agree (and then a short, prayerful statement that corresponds to the verse and helps us to claim that promise in our lives). The chapter closes with a prayer thanking God for His promises about the specific topic.

As you can see, this resource is definitely one that could be referenced time and time again, throughout the course of daily life. A couple issues that prevent me from giving it a full five stars, however, are the fact that I don’t personally like all of the translations of the Bible referenced in the book, and sometimes an occasional verse seems to have been taken out of context from it’s purpose and meaning in the Bible. Of course, as with most all books written on the topic of Prayer, readers must take what they can from the book - what God is whispering to their hearts and in their lives - and discard the rest.

If you are looking for a resource that will help you incorporate the practice of praying the Scriptures into your quiet times, this is definitely a title you should consider. While I did not agree with all of it, it undoubtedly contained many nuggets of wisdom that inspired and guided me to begin “Praying God’s Promises”.

"Prayer changes things. Praying God's promises changes everything."
(Linda Evans Shepherd)

Praying God's Promises by Linda Evans Shepherd is a wonderful book to keep handy as a reference. Prayer can at times be a challenge - knowing what to pray, what God's Word promises to us, and His will in all that happens.

In the introduction of this book, the author reminds us: "God's promises have the power to calm storms, incite miracles, and best of all, deliver you" (page 12).

God has given us His many promises so that through them, and by them, we would come to know Him more deeply. Andrew Murray has said:

"There is something more necessary than the effort to exercise faith in each separate promise that comes to our attention. That is the cultivation of a trustful attitude toward God - the habit of always thinking of Him, of His ways and of His works, with bright, confident hopefulness. In such promises alone, the individual promises take root and grow up."
(as quoted on pages 18-19)

The author shares personal stories and experiences, providing Scriptures and guided prayers, to make application easy for every reader. The book is organized into twenty seven chapters by topic, a few of which are:

Comfort
Direction
Healing
Hope
Relationships
Purpose
Strength
Success
Troubles

Throughout the book, the author also presents the various names of God, in a section entitled - "Name above All Names" and explains:

" ... when you understand that a loving and powerful God is making you a promise, you can more easily find the faith to believe he wants to move on your behalf." (page 18)

This is a book easy to use and reach for when dealing with a challenging situation in your life and unsure how to pray. The book is a rich treasury of God's promises to His people and offers hope and encouragement on every page.

"Praying God's Promises" is packed full of God's promises for every scenario from blessings to troubles and children to relationships to breakthroughs to protection and everything in between. More than a book, Linda Evans Shepherd's prayer guidebook will help you sort through God's promises and find a prayer for whatever you are struggling with. Each chapter contains a brief testimony leading into a promise garden filled with promises from God's Word and help forming prayers.

"Praying God's Promises" is a book that you will want to keep with your Bible or at your quiet time spot for those times that you need reassurance and help from God's Word but don't know where to look.  You will use these prayers for yourself and those you love for everything you are going through.

My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a pocket size to carry in your purse.

Lately I have been reading Praying God's Promises by Linda Evans Shepherd. She has gathered up the promise verses and gathered them for us to read and re-read as we need them. You see, sometimes we need a few encouraging verses and spend time flipping the pages of our bibles for just that one verse. Linda's book is categorized by topic and I find that to be very helpful. If I want to look for verses of Joy or Direction, there is a section of verses covering those topics. While there are no discussion questions, I believe this book is a good fit for group study.

Last spring as I listened to novels about promise jars or promise boxes I thought how nice it would be to have one place to find the promise verses. If we believe in God's promises, how better to spend devotional time than to read the promise verses.

Many thanks to Revell books for publishing faithful books we can read and study to further our faith. I received a copy of Praying God's Promises from Revell for an honest review. I recommend this book to anyone who longs to deepen their faith whiled studying God's word.

Prayer is such an important part of the Christian life, and I’m always looking for books and lessons on how to strengthen my prayer life. Therefore, I jumped at the chance to read and review Praying God’s Promises by Linda Evans Shepherd. My feelings about this book are mixed, however, and completely my own opinion.

I love the way the book is set up: short, punchy chapters that each have a different theme and the truth within the verses listed. But I had a very hard time following along with my Bible, as I like to do with these kind of books. This author uses so many different versions of the Bible (to keep the book non-denominational, I’m sure) that it got confusing at times. Some references didn’t even match up with my Bible (I use KJV), or the verse used in the book has a different meaning than KJV.

This review isn’t based on my belief over which version of the Bible should be used but is based on how user-friendly it is.

The book points people to the promises of God and that can never be a bad thing. But for me, the book didn’t meet my devotional criteria (which is entirely my own preference and opinion).

I give it three stars.

“The Scriptures tell us that when we pray the will of God, he delights to answer our prayers.”

Praying God's Promises, by Linda Evan Sheperd, covers a wide range of types of prayers a person may have. With over 20 different topics, this book is a good book to have as a reference book or for those times when it is hard to know what to pray. Some of the topics include faith, hope, children, comfort, healing, relationships and salvation. The chapters contain personal stories, prayers and bible verses that go along with the theme of the chapter. The book focuses on helping the reader understand the promises of God to His people as stated in the bible.
While I did not agree with the use of some of the bible verses, this is a nice book to have for those times when it is hard to pray. I also feel the author used to many different bible translations. Even though there are times reading in different translations is a good thing, I would have preferred if the author had used just a few different popular versions. This would make a good book to use for a bible study.
I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing, this is my honest review.

Have you ever been in a situation and you were not sure what to do? Sometimes there are some unforeseen circumstances that happen in life. To get through those times, there is a book called “Praying God’s Promises” by Linda Evans Shepherd. In this book, you will encounter many different promises from God that you can pray over and see where God leads you. These promises can bring hope to any season you are currently in.

I feel that this book would be great read for everyone. This might be a book that is more catered to the adult crowd. However, anyone who can read scripture would be able to sift through and gain knowledge of God’s promises. I think it is great that a verse is given along with which translation it is from. The affirmation written with each of the verses tells the reader what the verse means when it comes to their current situation. This is one book you will want to read as it can give lifelong lessons to learn from God.

Sometimes, it's so hard to know what to pray. I know I struggle at times with what words I want to say as difficult situations come up in my life and the lives of others.

This book has 27 different topics to guide you in your prayer life. Linda shares a Scripture then under that, she will guide us into prayer using that Scripture. I really loved this as it impressed upon my heart and mind the promises God has for us in all things!

She shares different stories and life circumstances that have been helped with prayer. I know I want my prayer life to be better, more God filled, and with more belief in the God's love and promises. This book has all that for me and really encouraged me to pray with faith for myself and others.

This is a wonderful book on prayer, unlike any I've read before. It's a guidebook of how to pray but it's so much more. I absolutely love this book and highly recommend it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

When we pray according to God’s will, He delights to answer our prayers. What is God’s will? How can we know it and pray it? God’s will is revealed in His Word through His promises.

Linda Evans Shepherd explains how to pray God’s powerful promises into our lives. This book inspires us to pray according to God’s will and to wait patiently for His glorious answers in our lives.

God is a God of Promises, fulfilled in Jesus Christ. All God’s promises are Yes and Amen in Christ. God controls everything in our lives. He loves us with an everlasting love. He is our Mighty Warrior. He fights all our battles. He is our Divine Doctor. He heals all our diseases.

God’s promises make a huge difference in our lives. God can be trusted, no matter how big our problems are. God’s promises calm our storms and delivers us out of them all. God’s promises are real. We are living proof of this. God’s promises prove true and cause a deep trust to well up in our spirits.

"God is a God of promises." (11)

I've always loved Linda Evans Shepherd's approach to scripture and her books about prayer. We're called to pray and we're assured by God's promises to us in His Book. The author's latest release, Praying God's Promises couldn't come at a better time in my life. It was just what I needed to focus on certain areas, and to read His word and the thoughts in my mind and heart. What I really liked about this book is the various sections that applicable to our daily lives. With 27 topics, the author shared biblical references and quotes and her personal thoughts. There's more of the former and it is well organized. Already, I've referred to it several times, and I believe there are many more opportunities.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. This is my honest opinion.

God has given us many promises and yet so many of us do not see those promises fulfilled. Linda Evans Shepherd has written a wonderful book that will help us move from being frustrated with our prayer life to basking in God's love.

This is not a book to be read in a day or even a week. This is a book that can change how to think about God. I'm currently using it as part of my daily devotions. Each time I open the book, I look forward to what I'm going to learn that day. The Promise Garden is part of each chapter. It gives verses that are relevant to that chapter's topic along with a prayer that agrees with God's Word.

Some of the topics covered include: comfort; faith; healing; joy; peace; and protection. And that's just a few of the topics. No matter where you are in your spiritual walk, this book will lead you further down the path.

A big thank you to Linda Evans Shepherd for writing this book!

If there is something you need prayer for but aren't sure what to pray, pick this book up.

I love how we can use scripture to pray and we should be, so why don't we do it?Well, now we have not excuse. If you have this book you should honestly have a prayer for every situation you face.

I also appreciate that Linda began each chapter with a personal story, if not her own then someone else's and how God worked in their lives and these scriptures we made real to them.

I would use this book as a resource. Keep it on hand and when you are going through something look up that situation and pray God's promises.

A copy of this book was given to me by the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Linda Evans Shepherd has hit the ball out of the park with this one. While this was my first time reading anything by this author, it most assuredly won't be my last. Mrs. Evans has gone above and beyond, collecting scriptures pertinent to basically every area of our life. It is an invaluable resource of hope and comfort, and a tremendous aid to finding God's incredible promises in His Word, and highlighting them. As the author shares in the introduction, God is truly a God of promises. This book will show you what they are, where they are, and will guide you to specific promises to meet your current situation. I highly recommend having this book in your library.

I read read this more as a study book. I read 1-3 chapters at a time. I liked the divisions. I didn't like that the chapter verse was then repeated later. I liked the stories that she interwove into the first part of the chapter. I read it on my Kindle so the fact that is needed charging interfered with my reading schedule. I has since moved a chair close to an outlet so that is not a problem.

I liked this book. the author know what she saying about god. She discussed topics on how people have to act in order to be saved. I loved the inspirational story, and the adventures the author had to take in order to finish this book. People need to read her book because it discussed the teaching of God and Jesus Christ.

This was an excellent read, but also it s a book that you can go to and use as a reference. The way the book is broken down, you can literally go to an issue that you are struggling with and find a scripture reading for that topic. Great book. 5.0 stars.

Praying God's Promises

Shepherd is a new author to me. I enjoyed this book very much and was happy to learn new names for God as I like to take a different name for God to pray daily.
