I read Juju, and the book where the author returns to Africa, with his white wife - THE RETURN...... Indeed Dillibe is a born writer, and of course he started very young. He writes very convincingly whether it be fiction, or non-fiction. He has been influenced by both western and Eurocentric situations and ideas. He often calls a spade a spade; eg the sheer disgust of him and his wife at the conditions of the (Nigerian) airport toilet. I am sure things have improved now! And one can confirm that, yes, he has always been a cerebral wordsmith.
