I really liked this book! Ashley and Garrick are a great couple. The only thing that brought down 1 star was the constant harping in her head about: 1.Men are not to be trusted etc. (her mother taught her all wrong). 2. The ecology of the planet and how important it is (Don't wipe out a species, even if it can EAT you.

I loved the story of being sent off ( druged and kidnapped by the government) into space to be a bride ( modern mail order bride). She arrives on The New Frontier planet and is expected to marry one of the many lonely men. The twist is....once a woman chooses a man he CAN NOT REFUSE HER. Cool!

This planet is loaded with surprises for Ashley but she learns to adapt. She learns to love the fresh air the people and the critters.

I found this book on openlibrary and, since I like futuristic romances, I gave this a go.

This book has some interesting world building but on the whole falls under the "Mars needs more women" trope.

I found this book to be a boring read as I did not find the plot nor the characters very interesting .

I did not finish reading this book.
