Nonfiction. Swedish. Language.

This is an introductory course in Swedish with grammar, reading, writing and listening exercises.

There are free audio dialogues online at the colloquial languages website.

Most of the book includes dialogues that follow the same family and characters. Factual texts are up to date material on everything from geography and history to pop culture.

I live in Finland where I'm surrounded by the Swedish language everyday. After finishing this book, although I would still require an actual course to manage the language, I find that I can understand more and identify many things I couldn't previously.
