Racing fear is about how a pair of friends were racing their rally cars on a sharp cornered track, when all of a sudden one of them got into a crash and drove off of the cliff. This book is about two best friends who ride their rally cars together. One day they were practicing racing next to each other when an accident occured. After this event they moved countries and then two weeks later they moved back. They remade their friendship after the accident and they continued racing. The one that crashed was given a Misubeashi lancer evo. His friend then becomes his guide, tells him his obstacle and coroners and whichever is ahead. He talks to him through a headset that is in their helmets and they communicate about the track. I personally found this novel Racing fear a very suspenseful story. The author described what they were doing with very much detail. Personally this book was a real page turner. Each event that happened made me really intrigued into this novel and made me want to read more and more and more. The details of the accidents and what was around them could have been more descriptive with a little more detail and with how they felt during the crash or what they felt about the crash. I strongly believe that the type of reader to read this would be someone who is into racing and cars and trucks. You gotta be into thrilling, suspenseful, and sad novels. Overall my opinion of this book is that it is really good and I enjoyed every second of it. Every event kept me intrigued and interested. Racing fear was a 10/10 book for me to read.
11/30/11 I think this is a very good book if you are into cars and motors and all that kind of stuff. This book teaches you many lessons about teenage life. It is pretty much reality and how things actually work now days. Teenage boys are always getting into some sort of trouble and or fights with other young teenage boys. This is a good book about rally racing also it is pretty interesting how it goes for the two young teens.
