A fast pace hood urban fiction that reads like a non fiction book. A crip by the name of Mitch he's not your ordinary crip he's full of wisdom and has a purpose. His purpose is to teach the youth that they can be more then just  a crip. He's ready to hang his blue rag up and become a positive influence for the youth to come back and provide better opportunities for them. His love for writing gives him and opportunity to move his family out the hood. The question is do he go out in a shoot out with the cops or do he get handcuff or do he make it inside the airport? Only in part 2 we will find that out.  @authorstanleyjamesii it was like I was there in every event the way you bring the characters to life not only are they full of cripin they full of wisdom as well. Lets get this book in the hands of the youth. Lets get this book in the hands of all races and all ages.

The Bust: "Live By The Gun Die By The Gun is the first book I'm reading of the author Stanley E. James II and this book is just astonishing.

When I started to read this, I was compelled to this book, because it contained everything from Action to drama, from empathy to crime, from trailer to suspense that will take your breath away.

The whole time I was reading this Marvellous book it kept me on the edge of my seat and I just wanted to know what will happen next. The storyline is very addictive and impressive.

The author Stanley has done a great job of portraying all the characters perfectly. The author has also written and described every scene in a detailed manner and in simple English which is the highlight of the book because it made it easy to visualize the action.

As I came at the end of the book the only thing it made me think was that I wanted to read more and can't wait to read the second book written by the author Stanley.

Overall an action and fantastic book with the catchy storyline. I will recommend this book to others to read as well. So read now.

The story opened with action. We are introduced to Roddy as the police are trying to arrest him. The action continues all the way through with "dump and dash" scenes like the one with supporting characters C'Mac and Mitch who knew that the Feds had been tailing them, I loved the messaging of this story that you don't have to be limited by your current circumstance. Your possibilities are limitless. He displayed this with Mitch's storyline of becoming a published writer. The author did a good job with character and plot development. Detective Boxer was written extremely well. His vendetta against Mitch, Roddy, and the like was palpable. I think James delivered a rich, gritty tale of street life that you have to experience on some level to fully appreciate. I will say that there were a few times that I had no idea what certain terms or phrases meant, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the novella. The ending had me on the edge of my seat. I'm rooting for Mitch.

This novella gives you an overview of Long Beach in 2013. It is obvious by the writers venacular and dialogue ussage that this is real, like really real. I liked the fast paced action with an accurate portrayal of street life. I enjoyed it and you will too. Follow him on Instagram!!!
