It Took a Beast to Tame Her
Patience never thought that finding out who she really was, would bring out some long-lost enemies.
At the age of twenty-two, Patience was at the top of her game. She dominated every extra curriculum activities in college and was ready to walk across the stage as a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Texas, in a couple of weeks. She had great friends and a supportive aunt. Everything was going fine until something unexplainable happens at her last track meet. Aunt Lurita tries to explain to her why she was so different, but Patience didn’t believe her. She thought that a quick getaway with her friends will get her mind off the all her troubles. The trip turned out to be more confusing and added on to the things that she was running away from.
Patience became a part of a world that she didn’t know exist.
Patience reunites with the family that was lost in her memories. She also finds out that she is a wolf and a Guardian(witch) of the Southern Territories. She inherits her parents gifts and they are uncontrollable together. Patience brothers try to train her to be one with her wolf, but her Guardian side does not want to take the back seat. She is forced to live through nightmares of her parents’ death and the secrets that her Aunt Lurita been holding in for years. To makes matters worse, she has to mate with a man she doesn’t know. But, Xavier remembers her and have no plans on letting her go.
Xavier was born and raised to become a leader. After his father’s death, Xavier took his father spot on the board of Alphas and was giving the southern territory to run. Many didn’t think that he was able to do it because of his age, but no one challenge him for it. Patience was promised to him growing up. On the day that it was to be announce, she was taking from him, along with her parents. He tried his hardest to move on, but he couldn’t replace his Queen. He was going to give into the Elders and mate with another woman in the pack. But, a disturbance at the sheriff station put a stop to them plans.
His Queen was alive and well. He was ready to do whatever it takes to keep her by his side. The Elders disagree with his choice, and that didn’t stop him from making her his. Xavier knew that Patience parents were killed because of the power the possess as a couple. He was prepared to walk that road with her. Even if he had to reveal his secrets to the world.
Xavier tries to show Patience that he is her protector. But, with the blood of an Alpha running through her veins, made it hard for her to relinquish that control. When tragedy hits the family, Patience becomes what they all fear. Will Patience overcome this with Xavier’s love or will she give in to the other.

Its been a while
It's always a pleasure to read paranomal fix ion with people of color as the leads. Since LA Banks left us, we only have a handful of authors to successfully write for us. While there were a few grammatical errors, this series holds major promise and I am definitely looking forward to reading the sequel!

I didn't enjoy this book. All the characters were the same. Same personality. Same way of speaking to each other. It was just monotonous.
Not only that! The story was confusing in the beginning. Does she remember or doesn't she. Is she in a tree or home? Where did her aunt go? It was unnecessary confusion.

Read this in a day!
Patience is constantly being tested in this story. And she needs just what her name is to deal with it all. I was glad she ran into her brothers and finally figured out what was going on. I was sort of confused in the beginning the author should’ve put a time stamp or something because it took me a minute to realize that the beginning was basically a flashback to what led Patience to where she’s at. I love the bond her & Jess has. Her friends are some riders. X is the definition of a true Alpha. I’m kind of hurt for her aunt she came to embrace the “mutts” as her family. It seems to me a lot of the packs have hidden secrets. So now the grand dad is alive and well? I knew that one Elder was no good I’m glad he died.

Too chaotic
The author creates a new world that includes shifters, guardians/witches: light and dark but leaves too many gaps for the reader to keep up with the jagged pace. Unfortunately this is a series. Sadly is appears that gone are the days when an author dared to tell a story in its entirety. I am so over cliffhangers that are supposed to force a reader to spend more to get another installment. I am already disinterested in chasing the ending. I can’t take the whiplash.

This book 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I can't wait for book 2. I love the details. The pack rules. Everyone's story came together. This book had me rolling.😅😅 Maxi and his hairy women. Right scenes were awesome. Low key wish shifters were real. Pack rules loyalty and respect, alpha's and beta's.
Book is a breath of fresh air. Something other than king pins and baby mama drama. I Iove paranormal fiction. Please get us book 2 asap

Nice try...
This was an alright try but needed work like crazy. It was jumping from one thought to the other and at times just didn't make sense what so ever. Paying attention to detail would go a long way. Then again try reading other paranormal stories, Mandy M. Roth does a great job at explaining also Heather Long. I can’t suffer through part 2 of this right now kind of hate I picked it up with this.

This was a great Book the romance was great the characters were great. Wish there was not a cliffhangers. Hope part two comes out soon not one of these books you have to wait forever the next part. But good work to Ms. Niecy I will tell others to read this book. Can't wait for more.

Man this book is 🔥. I loved everything about it. Xavier is bae all fay. He loved him some Patience. He played no games about her. Poor patience went through it. Honey Chaos plays no game can u say Ultimate Personality. Man im gone miss the Auntie. This paranormal is the freaking bomb. Im on pins and needles waiting for part 2. Greta job.

I loved this book!!!
This is my first time reading a book from this author and I really like her work. I love shape shifter books. This book has a good love story, a little bit of mystery, and drama. Patience was taken from her family when she was younger. Her aunts raises her. She finds her family and mate and that is when the drama begins. I am ready for part 2.

I love it!!!!
I loved this book all the way around. The ups and the downs. I can’t wait for part two. I hate that the Aunt was lulled but I know Grandpa coming back with a vengeance. I hope patience returns to herself though. I think X will drive himself insane if he don’t. I would recommend this book to all my friends that read. And this book deserved my 5 stars.

You know a book is good when you've been up all night reading it! In book one Patience discovers why she excels at everything she does. She discovers family secrets and her true identity. Patience has 3 crazy best friends that remind me of my girlfriend's that cut up the whole book. Book 1 will leave you salivating for book 2!

What
I was hoping this was a new sci-find reading but it reminded me so much of the HBO series with the Vampires turned good. I didn't like it at all when the author wrote to disrespectful wheeze about the elders. Colonizers Brainwashing in full effect. We all grow into elders. I do like, Oil Bit. Story.

Pretty good
I gave it three stars and wrote pretty good because I’m hoping I don’t get lost in the next two books. This book pulled me in but then all of a sudden I had to keep reading certain parts over again. Some parts just didn’t make sense. But, I will read the whole series. Hopefully, I will bring those stars up to 5 stars.

Good job!
I must admit, the first time I downloaded this book it didn't hold my attention and I deleted. My cousin visited me later that day and recommended the same book. She ensured me if I gave it another try I wouldn't be disappointed and she was right. Can't wait to see what book 2 & 3 have in store.

First read I believe by this author. None the less, wow, okay Mrs. Niecy P. this book was nice... Very, very nice! The action, the drama, the suspense and the mating on my. I am really looking forward to the next book. I am loving this world she has created for me to escape to. Really good book.

Oh my goodness I just know that Chaos is about to wreck havoc in everybody lives... I hope that Patience will come back for Xavier because I love them together and I can’t wait to see what happens with Xander and Jess... so far I’m loving this book immensely and can’t wait for part 2
