This book provides an awesome explanation of the many characteristics of beaches, including how dunes are created, high and low tides, the different plants that can be found around the beach, the different seashells that can be found and what kind of animals those shells came from, and the different animals in and around the ocean, such as whales and seagulls. The book also highlights recreational activities one can partake in at the beach and shows maps of where different beaches are across the world, and what kind of sealife can be found around those shores. Great science book for ocean life!
