When I started this book, I never read autobiographies before, so I wasnt sure if I will be able to finish this book. At the beginning of the book, I almost gave up because the first few chapters was about how Burma faced colonization and how countries were fighting over Burma, influencing the culture today. But as soon as Aun San Suu Kyi's story came up, I could hardly stop reading. Her life and accomplishments was very interesting to read about, I would recommend this book to people who are interested in Burma's history or if they are interested in polticians.
