I like the one-page idea as if you can't distill things down into one-page then whats the point of the encyclopaedia you've put together.
The author is clearly passionate about what he does and I'm guessing had a tough time compressing all that enthusiasm and knowledge into a quick and easy to read and understand eBook, but he did a good job of it.
Had to admin at th start I was having doubts but once I got to the bit I was looking for viz the one-page bit then it all fell into place.
Disclosure: I was offered a free copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review.

Mark Smith delivers an extremely helpful and concise overview of a business plan with a practical template for writing one. Mark provides the introductory "what it is" with enough "how to" to help any prospective start-up cover the essential aspects of a thorough and compelling business plan. This resource is a thinking-person's tool to work through the business planning process. Mark combines his Stanford MBA smarts with two decades of business start-up expertise to deliver a tool that is easy to read, but will require careful thinking to complete. I found it extremely helpful as I work to expand and monetize my website and "brand."

I love that this is short, concise and straight to the point. There's no filler fluff giving a bunch of examples of what people have done in the past and why you should follow the author's advice, this is just a straight nuts and bolts of how you can get started on your business plan and the vision of your company. I'd recommend this read to anyone thinking about starting up their company or looking to improve their business.

Didn’t meet my expectations
This was not very helpful to me. Perhaps if you have absolutely no business background or experience you would get a little something out of it. Several typos.

Good but you could prob read the same stuff online
A good read if your trying to start up however a quick Google search will give you roughly the same Information.
