Wanda is putting together the Fall Fun Feast, but she forgot about the food! When she starts looking into ideas, Ralphie starts talking about ghost farms, but nobody believes in ghosts. Ms. Frizzle and the class decide to investigate, so it's off to the Magic School Bus for another adventure.

When they arrive on the farm, they see machines driving themselves! There's a tractor and some drones, but who is in charge? The class discover a scientist who is head of the research process on the farm. They learn that the machines are robots, not haunted.

I love that the Magic School Bus is back, but I wish there were more details in this one. They don't talk about the machines at all really, so the robots thing isn't investigated. I love the Fall feel to this book and that there's a glossary in the back for some words that kids might not understand.

Final Verdict: This is perfect for fans of magic, science, learning new things, and adventure.

Good story, but it felt like there was a big hole in the adaptation. I kept turning back pages to find what we missed.
