This is a very special book about the beauty of the North Georgia mountains. The author is a wonderful watercolor artist as well as a good storyteller, and he tells about his grandmother's farm from his own childhood summers there all the way to being able to live at the farm permanently as an adult with his own young family. There are beautiful paintings of old farm buildings and fields, old town buildings as they would have appeared in days gone by, and lovely landscape paintings of the mountains, woods, waterfalls, and sunsets. I loved this book!
