Paths Between Head and Heart: Exploring the Harmonies of Science and Spirituality

Rate this book
Paths Between Head and Heart provides an accessible but comprehensive account of how science and spirituality relate, not as enemies, but as partners in the quest for a truth that is greater than either one can understand alone. While many books have been written on science and religion, not many have looked at how spirituality and science exist as complementary parts of a larger whole, and how they relate specifically to the transitional challenges that define our era.

I enjoyed this book. Especially the logical examination of what science means to spirituality and visa versa. They need each other. I liked the way the book was laid out and it stoked my curiosity about other philosophers/ scientists that I am familiar with but now warrant a closer look.
I have a background in science so I was able follow his layout easily. I think it may be a more challenging read for those that have no knowledge of scientific terms but hopefully they will look at it as an opportunity to educate themselves. Lots of interesting sidebars too. I recommend this book for those who think spirituality is foolish or for those that think science isn’t necessary. Give it a read.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking to broaden their scope of thinking. Daring to think past the boundaries of science and perhaps speculate on something we can't fully comprehend. This book expertly appreciates both schools of thought and sheds light on where they overlap.
