When Vishnu first told me the title - "Imperfect Misfits" by Devanshi Sharma available for review, I instantly said yes. I didn't even check the cover, I liked title. Once I received the book I loved the cover art as well.

"Imperfect Misfits" is the story of two best friends Aakash and Tiasha. Aakash was sorted guy, whereas Tasha was a bit childish in nature. These two inseparable best friends fell in love and things started to go haywire. When things didn't work out, they decided to just begin best friends again. Along the way, they both started dating different people. But could not feel that love and finally came back together.

What I like about this book is simple and easy language, therefore millennials will enjoy this book. Being a foodie I also liked the comparison of food with general things and thoughts in life. What I didn't like about this book is author's view in between which was breaking the link of the story. Also, the pace of the story in starting is very slow and bit boring which I didn't like.

Overall this book is for millennials who want to read simple and casual romantic novel.

Imperfect misfits is a bubbly tale of friendship with a crispy punch of love .

The story revolves around Tiasha and Aakash who are best of friends but poles apart . Aakash , on one hand , is very clear about his dream of becoming a stand up comedian while Tiasha is still struggling to figure our her real self . Where Aakash is matured and calm , Tiasha is child like and confused. But as said , opposites attract , Is there something more to this friendship of best friends ?
Will Love take over this friendship or will the promises of friendship remain forever ?
Are they imperfect misfits for each other ?

Grab this beautiful story to find out more.

The title , though Imperfect misfit , is completely perfect and intriguing . The cover is very bubbly and catchy and is a treat to eyes . Although I found the blurb very average . It could have been much better.

The plot of the story is good and the storyline is nice . I liked the characters of the novels and it was the characterisation that kept me hooked till the end . One can easily connect with all the characters . The narration is lucid and the language is simple . I loved the way food and delicious dishes are incorporated in the story . Also the interesting titles to each new chapter made it unputdownable .

The author's point of view in b/w the story was disturbing at times . It hampered the flow of reading . Also I kind of found the maturity lacking in the story . It was more kind of a teenage cute bubbly love story .

Overall a good one time read and a treat for teenage love story readers .

Every person enters a phase in his or her life where he has to choose between love and career or has to balance the two elements. Imperfect Misfits is the story of two friends Tiasha and Aakash who has their goals set in their minds. Tiasha wanted to become a chef and on the other hand, Aakash wanted to become a popular stand-up comedian. They both share very chirpy moments of friendship but tables turn when Tiasha fall in love with him. She was badly stuck between her career and her emotions. What will be the fate of the two best friends? Will they end up being in a relationship or will remain only friends forever?

The first thing that attracted me towards the book was its cover. It is so appealing. The cover depicts that the book has the element of romance within. The title of the book is very innovative and I am sure that the author must have taken a lot of efforts to come upto this title. It very well describes the entire plot of the book briefly. The blurb however was not much interesting and could have been better. The plot was quite predictable like most of the romantic tales yet it managed to keep me hooked up till the end. Overall, it was a light and little entertaining read.

My Ratings:

Title: 5/5

Cover: 5/5

Blurb: 3/5

Characterization: 4/5

The story revolves around the lives of Tiasha and Aakash, two best friends on the way of achieving their dreams.

Aakash dreams to be a stand-up comedian and Tiasha a well – known chef. Both of them pursues their dreams but there comes a point in their life when they fall for each other and that messes up situations for both. Especially for Tiasha. She doesn’t want to be Aakash’s girlfriend but at the same time doesn’t want anyone else to take that place. The story continues with the ups and downs and to find what lays ahead you must read the book.

One thing which I would like to point out is author kept transitioning between the srory characters and her own perspective which in a way is annoying while reading asit sounded much like preaching than narrating a tale.

The story line was quite predictable and the book cover is quite animated which didn’t appeal much to my eyes. However, the book is free from any grammatical errors and has been edited well. There are various insurance where Hindi words have been used or Hindi dialogues are written. I personally do not like such variation.

However, the book is a one time read and not so complicated one. One can finish it in one sitting may be if the reader is not bored and decide to leave it midway.

Overall, a good but predictable story. The efforts taken by author and publisher are appreciable.

Before I would like to begin, I'm mentioning it beforehand that my review is going to be long & negative. Yes, you heard it right, a 'negative' review.

Often life pushes us in situations where we lose everything & circumstances are so severe that we tend to lose the only person whom we love or care the most. It clouds one's conscience & devastates them completely. The amount of humor & pain incorporated in the book is worth commenting upon. It has been balanced throughout the book.

However, I'm going to mention the following points for which I've given a negative rating. Also, due to the conclusion given in the book, I'm giving it 1 star. Else, my contemplation would have given the book purely the least rating it can deserve.

Cover is bad. It has been a total letdown for me. As it portrays live humans in the book. I'm not against it. It's just I'm not a huge fan of the characters who have been portrayed on the book cover. Additionally, when it comes to maintaining equilibrium alongside story, it becomes a total disaster. It doesn't go with the story in hand. On the contrary, the cover should have been something else. The actual cover is far different from what is should have been, considering the way the plot has been portrayed in the story. Because the book talks about pain & separation, I feel the cover could have been designed much better, with careful discernation.

Title is good. Aptly selected with the plot.
Theme consists of love, sadness, friendship, family, true love, unrequited love, betrayal, pain & many aspects infused together.

Coming to the main point of the review, too many vulgar scene has been presented, which kills the mood required to read it.
It seems as though, the term 'sex' has been highlighted over here very effectively & efficiently. I feel the main objective of the book is to inculcate sex among the readers; to substantiate the fact that sex is an inevitable part of our life, sex is a necessity when it comes to relationships, sex forms the basis of love & whatsoever.
And the fun yet surprising part is, the female character doesn't object or protest against the objectification of women on the basis of carnal pleasures or lust. It shows objectification of women, & portrays them in the form of lust in many instances. It may work in Indian culture, certainly upto a great extent. But it goes against the belief of many individuals. So it was necessary to mention these points. The poor portrayal or highlighted words like 'boobs' or 'sex' & the persuasion of them in a careless sense is what really ticked me off & hence the negative review.
So I wouldn't recommend it for all age groups.

There're no good quotes. No facts or highlights or anything which helps a reader gain some insight or knowledge of life. Only the sense of humour inculcated at some stages along with the painful climax encouraged me to give an overall rating of 1.

Every particular scene has been explained in an over dramatic fashion, it keeps prolonging. It felt totally hopeless, useless & meaningless. This shows how much amount of immature writing has been employed in the book. I got this book based on the overhyped market researches which going on everywhere these days, also the newsletters which seem to add further 'masala' to the fake content & stuffs very dubiously.

However, at time when I was reading it, I regretted having bought this book. It personifies males as perverted species & with dejection personifies women as shameful objects of lust. At times I just regretted my decision to buy this book. However, I sticked to the end.

Writing is poor, even the choice of words haven't been selected aptly. Abrupt usage of vocabulary & no good ethical knowledge of grammar makes it even more worse. It has so many typesetting, printing, editing mistakes. Even the grammar is totally bad.
And of course, undoubtedly monotonous at many times.
Nothing unique about the story. Just a common bollywood cliché (love story romance types). Not recommended to all the readers.

My advice : there're many wonderful legendary books out there. Basically, they're lost in the chaos & depths of time. Kindly read them & stay away from these sophomore & sophisticated (irony) books.

Tiasha: I am very annoyed. 😣😣

Aakaash: That's your job, Tiasha. Good that you are doing it well.

Tiasha: And I am very serious. 😤

Aakaash: When are you not! 😆

Tiasha: Argh! I hate you, Aakaash.

Aakaash: Thank God for small mercies! 😆
That's what best friends do. The fight with each other and tease each other. But in the end, they're there for each other, helping each other in taking decisions and supporting each other.

Cover - A beautiful cover having shades of pink. On the cover are some superb elements like coffee mug, hearts, a spoon and lovely fresh flowers. Saurav Das's work is truly appreciable. The way he has designed the entire cover is awesome. Added to this, one thing that I really love is the conversation part on the back cover. It shows the bittersweet relationship shared by two best friends.

Title - There are people who are perfect for each other. Then there are people who are together since they share the same ideologies and opinions.  Such people are called "perfect fits".

There are also a different kind of people who are completely opposite of each other, yet there that special bond. They are unlike poles (and we knows unlike poles best attract each other). They argue and fight but in the end the love each other and respect what the other person actually is. These are called "imperfect misfits". Because, after all, No one is perfect and no to people can never be the same.

Devanshi Sharma has chosen the title brilliantly.

Language and writing skills - The author is a very good storyteller. The way she has taken as on a journey is mesmerizing. One part that I really love about this book is the cute switching between the two languages, English and Hindi. Makes me relate more to the story. Along with this, Devanshi has appropriately put in insights of her life and ideas in between the story. In this way, we not only feel connected with Aakaash and Tiasha, but also with Devanshi Sharma.

Storyline - Imperfect Misfits is the story of Aakaash and Tiasha who are best friends.

Aakaash is a calm headed person, A witty stand-up comedian who knows exactly what he wants. He is the tranquility with refugees crave to stay in.

Tiasha is the exact opposite of Aakaash. A bubbly, stubborn, yet an ambitious girl. She is a risk-taker, I wanderer who loves to explore and to experiment. Also she is impulsive at times. She always stays confused about things and is switching between job and compassion of cooking. She is always pampered by Aakaash. He is always there for her, being a supporter and also the best confidante.

Then comes love between friendship. Along with love, come expectations. Will these two crazy kids be able to survive the ups and downs of life? Most importantly, friendship survive through this wavy we journey of love?

Read this tender and heartfelt tale to find out!

Strengths and weaknesses - I believe there aren't any negative points about the book. Devanshi has written it being Hustle, and being natural is the best strength one can have.

Also, the way she has added her life's insights in the form of small tit-bits is really very sweet.

Portrayal of characters - Aakaash and Tiasha are people who will make us fall in love with themselves. Aren't we the same? Bubbly and childish but sometimes, stern and clear at other? Exactly why I felt like Aakaash and Tiasha are a part of me, a reflection of what I am.

One more special character that I love is Devanshi. The way she has narrated her story, about her life and how she feels connected with the characters created by her, is really lovely.

Also, Tiasha's parents, Aakaash's sister Vaishnavi, and the other characters are portrayed beautifully.

"At times, letting go of the perfect expectations to make things imperfectly perfect becomes important."

Some love stories take time to brew. Some love stories beget complications. And some love stories start with friendships. But none of them is perfect. And not all relationships can be perfectly defined. But then, it's the imperfections that make our life perfect and makes it worth living.

Aakaash and Tiasha are a part of one such great love story where friendship is stronger than the love. They fight when they are together and yet can't live apart. They are imperfect, but they fit perfectly within each other. They are definitely the "Imperfect Mitfits".

Tiasha is a chef by passion while Aakaash is a stand-up comedian. Tiasha is a confused soul and Aakaash always knows exactly what he wants. Tiasha is the one who wants to wander and explore. Aakaash is the tranquility everyone wants to take refuge in. "Imperfect Misfits" by Devanshi Sharma is a story of these two best friends who fights with their endless imperfections to discover the love within them.

The book first grabs the readers' attention with its dual narrative style. Two narration go side by side. One is the third person narrator telling us about the story of Aakaash and Tiasha. And another the first person narrator giving us a glimpse into the author's personal life, thoughts and experiences. This technique helps us to develop a certain personal relationship with the author and feel like having a direct heart to heart conversations with the writer herself!

And in that author's voice spiced with some light humour and funny remarks, the book provides the readers with some great life advices. And at times, the author uses food imagery and metaphors to describe certain situations in life from which we can learn a great deal. Streaming from real-life experiences, we can all use such advices to learn the important lessons of life.

The character of Aakaash and Tiasha is very realistically portrayed. People like Aakaash are a rare breed and everyone craves to have someone like him in their life. The character of Tiasha is extremely relatable too, as we all had been like her at some point of our life at least. And the author rightly says: "she was just a reflection of what we were."

The book captures the journey of these two characters who grow and develop as they wade through their life. And as the readers join them in the ride, they too learn through them and grow with the characters themselves.

Impregnated with emotions, experiences and life lessons, "Imperfect Misfits" by Devanshi Sharma is a tale of a perfect love story between two best friends who aren't perfect in themselves but are perfect for each other. And going by the logic of two negatives making one positive, Imperfect Misfits is actually Perfect Fits, right? Or maybe it's something for the readers to ponder at the end of the beautiful tale.

"At times, defining relationships doesn't work. Let them just be Imperfect Misfits."

'Imperfect Misfits' A story of Tiasha and Aakash. A story of two best friends on the way of achieving their dreams. Aakash who is very clear about his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian, Tiasha on other hand is confused between passion and profession. Apart from this, the best friend bond they share where they're in love. will they ever confess their love? Will Tiasha decide what she wants from life?
It's a story of two best friends who are madly in love but as best friends. Tiasha acts like a kid, while Aakash acts like a matured one, will they fit together? or will stay best friends forever?

I loved the title and the cover of the book. It's Pretty and Attractive. It's a sweet story of a girl who's confused between Passion and Profession. Tiasha- a bubbly, sweet and smiling soul whereas Aakash- A matured, calm and understanding soul who want to fulfill his dreams. I loved the way the author has build characters, each one of us can relate to Tasha's and Aakash's life. The plot of the story is also good. What I didn't like was the author's views in between the story. It was breaking the link between reading and hence, I ignored what author wrote at her point. At some point It was much irritating, as it was completely distracting from the story. I loved Tiasha's and Aakash Characters, they kept me engaged throughout. The language that the author used is simple and friendly which made this book for teenagers. It's a simple Hindi-English language. I loved the chemistry of Tiasha and Aakash, I would have given 5/5 if there was no author's talking in between chapters. That made pace too slow. The tempo again was good.
Overall, it would have been a great story if it was Tiasha's and Aakash story, Author's talk disappointed me throughout.

Hence, this book is for all those who like reading simple romantic, fiction stories. A light, witty read. Ignoring author's talk I would recommend everyone to read this story of Tiasha and Aakash.

It was Lovely.

“Imperfect Misfits” is a story of two best buddies Tiasha and Aakaash. They have a unique connection between them and they both are very curious about each other which is the unique part of their friendship.
Tiasha a chef by passion who love to cook for friends and for Aakaash especially. and Aakaash a Stand-Up comedian by passion who love to make people laugh with the help of his joke. But while traveling to this journey Tiasha got confused between Passion and Profession. She got selected for a Training season by a top Advertising company and Aakaash also got selected for the same but Aakaash focused on Passion and Tiasha opted to follow her profession and she decided to go for a Training just to experience the something new from it which can help her for her restaurant. Aakaash were getting certain fame just because of his talent of stand up and his videos are getting viral on the internet.
Tiasha’s parents were very supportive to Tiasha and never forced her to do anything she is free to take her decision, and in the case of Aakaash his family was little different from Tiasha’s Family his father always forced him to get a Job but his Grandpa was supportive to him. They are best friends no doubt but somewhere they are in love Will they confess their love? Will Tiasha get what she wants from life?
To Know the answer to this question-You have to read this wonderful book by Young Author Devanshi Sharma
This is the first time I’m reading the book by Devanshi Sharma, Cover of the book looks amazing and beautiful. Imperfect misfits is more of a complicated yet interesting tale of love and friendship. Author has done a great job on Tiasha, she is really adorable.
The story here is no simple, cuchie-koo tale of love. The complication and confusion starts from the page one and continues till the very last page of the book. Aakash, the aspiring standup comedian and Tiasha, our very own aspiring chef are the pole apart individual happens to be the best friends here. While Aakash was simple and sorted, Tiasha was most confused and complicated one. With course of time Aakash comes up with the realization that he could no more be friend with Tiasha because what he felt for her was more than friendship. It was love. But speaking of Tiasha none was certain not even she herself was. Now what happens next can be known by predicating or by getting a copy of this beautiful book.
The thing I really admire about this book is its stern grip on theme of friendship being love of life. It was sorted and simply just like Aakash.
Other thing that was worth admiring was author’s capability of keeping the characters in control. None of them lost track. However, this book confused few of my ideologies and left me confused just like Tiasha. One more thing I would like to add here is keep patience in the beginning because it may feel a little slow and drag.
Some recommend this book to all those confused soul out there who are confused amidst friendship and love.

To be summed up can be put up as a book which is an enjoyable read with you traversing in their story along with them.

The cover is simple yet suits the story and the title as well. The title is intriguing and the back cover shows up the mutual understanding between them.

The book has the story of Tiasha and Aakash as two poles apart kind of personalities but stay together no matter what as they know and understand each other more than anyone. The story follows the pattern of their description how they are towards the end of college and now they have to decide what to do with their lives to move on forward and again. Aakash is a standup comedian and Tiasha is an amazing cook. Life throws them with opportunities and they stay together as friends. Time passes by and they realize they are meant for each othher. The story has been narrated well and keeps the reader hooked with the storyline. Tiasha is a bubbly person who does'nt know what to do and is very unclear whereas Aakash is a person who is clear about what he wants in his life. The way the author has described the events is good it feels like a story being told with some of her sayings in between as well. Hinglish is used in the book. The funny conversations between both of them are really enjoyable. The language is easy to understand. A One time read to make you laugh and enjoy the simple yet good read.

What a beautiful title! Oh yes, I'm literally in love with the title of this book. And the beautiful cover lured me to grab the book. This story is a perfect blend of friendship, blooming love and chasing dreams! This is a bubbly YA read, overloaded with cuteness. This book is quite unique and different from the common teenage romance stories out there. The story revolves around the protagonists, Aakaash and Tiasha who are poles apart, yet the best of friends.  Food and humour is always a wonderful combination and thus I grew fond of the dynamic chemistry between Aakaash, a stand up comedian and Tiasha, a chef by passion. Both these characters are so realistic and relatable that I actually felt as if this is my story.

The theme is nice and the plot is well chosen. The storyline is strong enough to make the readers stay glued to the story till the end. The language is simple and lucid. The story has a smooth flow and runs at a fast but uniform pace throughout. Characterisation has played an important role in the story. The characters have been intricately designed with a realistic touch.

Overall this has been an awesome read. This is the first book of Devanshi that I've read, and I feel like getting hold of her previous books at this very moment.

Superb read! You just can't afford to miss this!

Imperfect misfits is a kind of average time pass story. It is a story of two best friends Aakash and Tiasha. I somewhat liked and disliked the character of Tiasha at the same time. She is one hell of a confused bubbly girl who is really really different and difficult to handle. To be honest I don't know any such girl that's why I disliked her at some points. On the other hand Aakash is a epitome of true friend who supports his friend no matter what.

Aakash dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian and Tiasha a well - known chef. Both of them pursues their dreams but there comes a point in their life when they fall for each other and that messes up situations for both, but for Tiasha more. She is kind of a girl who doesn't want to be Aakash's girlfriend but at the same time doesn't want anyone else to take that place. So the story continues and to find what lays ahead you must read the book.

Author has used very simple language in the book. She has also used Hindi words and sentences in the book which I think non - Hindi readers won't like or even understand. So it's a minus point. The cover page seems animated to me and I didn't like it much. I read the book in one go at the weekend and it was a nice time pass.

This book teaches us that the real life struggles start when you come out of your comfort zone. The zone set by your parents, your friends, and even you yourself. Never had one achieved a goal with pure comfort. This story depicts some of the ups and downs ones life can take, but only you are able to take the risk. After all, no one is perfect, we all do have flaws. Some of us are lazy, some are crazy, some lack determination, some lack resources, and well most of us lack confidence. Never look down on yourself. That's the author's moto. Being able to complete the dream, we set some goals. Work on those, and the dream will come true.

Author illustrates true love, not the lovey dovey kind but the one nurtured with a best friend. The one who always gets you whatever the situation is, they stick to you.

This is the story of two best friends, Taisha, the carefree and most stubborn girl, and the guy next door, Aakash, the sensible one. Tiashas journey to becoming a reknown chef and Aakash to be a successful comedian was the mishaps, and communication gaps between both made the story more interesting. They were not perfect but were the best fits for their souls. That's what life is, to make decisions, be imperfect, and be misfit because not even God makes perfect matches.

Imperfect Misfits, as the name suggests is a story of two people who entirely different yet suitable for each other. This book is a story of Tiasha and Aakaash. They are best friends, who (like so many boy-girl bffs) are in love with each other. They are opposite ends of a pole, yet they are together. This is a story of love and friendship, and how things turn upside down when two come together.

What I liked about the book is its story. Thinking about plot, it is rather common but the way it has been narrated, in conjunction with so many anecdotes, makes it different and enjoyable.

Characters of the story are built and described very well. Few chapters and you are already hooked to them.

What I didn't like about the book is the author narration in between. All throughout I wondered what was the purpose of them... they only disrupted the flow and to be honest, irritated me! I had to skip them throughout.

Another aspect I didn't like was at times story was too dragged. And I had to put it down for sometime and then continue. The flow was fine but it could have been fast-paced.

Overall it is an okay read. My rating for it is 2.5/5

What I like about this book is definitely the chemistry which the author built up between both the protagonists and rightly penned down many instances supporting them. The book has a casual but a different kind of narration comprising Hinglish on several instances. In my opinion, the love story has uniques connect when it is casual and served with light vocabulary and casual narration. The author even brought her personal stories to make the reader feel that connection. She even used phrases like "doesn't that happen to you" quite often. Although sometimes these stories can bother your reading and you feel them to irrelevant for that moment.

I like the names of chapters and the comparison she made with the food and recipes. Although I feel she should have presented Aakash with few jokes here and there or even some chapters dedicated to his standup as she did with Tiasha. The other characters were well built and given enough space.

A good entertaining read and romance lovers must read this one. Also, kudos to the author as she mentioned she did this writing in Metro.

The title itself gives out a lot about the book. The story revolves around two best friends - Tiasha , a fun loving , outgoing and bubbly girl. She is confused between her passion and life choices. Aakash is a epitome of true friend. He always supports Tiasha and wants to be a standup comedian.

I am not sure how I really feel about this book. The writing is plain simple with no high or low points. It goes on and on blankly. The highlights are the food references and the friendship that the author wanted to portray. The character of Tiasha is a bit annoying but relatable because I have personally seen such characters in my surroundings.

The cover is bright and lovely. The author puts her viewpoint in between the story which goes out of the place at times.

Imperfect Misfits is an average read which can be picked up while you are beating your reading slump or traveling.

The blurb seemed very average sort of book, yet I picked up to read and ended completing the book cause unlike the other characters were different.
But love bloomed, the story revolves around two best friends taisha and aakash. As its known opposite poles attract each other, that's how it happened. The childhood friends, on one hand aakash who knows his priorities, dreams and wants to become stand up comedian, on the other hand taisha who is very different to deal with, who is still not aware of her calling, yet wants to be chef.

In the journey, they end falling for each other, will they accept the love or turn back?
How will they deal with thier own feelings.
To know more, grab this book.

The title is perfect for the story, the cover is okay ish, the language is very simple and easy to understand, the Hindi language is also used in the book.

Imperfect misfit is a sweet, light tale of friendship and love. We have come with the similar stories before too but the unique narration by the author with a dose of fun and humor makes the book a delight read.
The story of the book revolves around the two main characters Aakash and Tiasha. Aakash was a simple and fun loving boy who was dreaming to be a stand-up comedian whereas Tasha was little childish in nature and she wanted to be a good Chef. Both were good friends but some situations made them to realise that they like each other much more than friends. Tiasha doesn't want to be Aakash's girlfriend but at the same time she also wants no one to take that place in Aakash's life. What will happen next? to know have to read this light and a good time pass story.
I like the cover design of the book. Language in the book is kept very simple and lucid.

Cuteness Alert !!!! This was one hell of a cute ride 🥰❤️

The plot revolves around two bestfriends
Tiasha - a chef by passion, childish and innocent, fun loving and bubbly girl, who's confused about her professional choices. On the other hand there's Aakaash - the witty, sensible stand-up comedian, who knows exactly what he wants & never fails to support Tiasha.
Their year long friendship blossoms into love before they realise, and gave a chance to explore the new path.

It is a quite predictable story where two childhood bestfriends, fall in love with each other, with them no longer able to deny the fact. They both started to date different people but couldn't hold themselves longer from each other.
"They roamed the whole world alone, but at the end of each journey, they came back to each other ... they came back to their Imperfect Misfits"

Recommended to everyone who likes "Bestfriends to lovers" troupe and is looking for a light enjoyable read.
I binged the heck out of this book & loved it 🥰

"Her laughter was contagious, and his jokes were irresistible. Together, they were a mad combination."

Devanshi Sharma's Imperfect Misfits published by Srishti Publishers is a feel good book.

The 187 paged novel follows the story of Aakash and Tiasha. They are best friends, poles apart but with an inseparable bond. Their friendship will make anyone envious. They both have feelings for each other but dreams to realize as well. Their feelings when comes in between their dreams, the love birds drift apart, only to be brought back the uncanny emotions.

The novel is perfectly paced and sails smoothly. One can read it in a single sitting.

Imperfect Misfits is a tale about two friends Tiasha & Aakaash and their journey together realizing their worth in life. Tiasha love cooking and it means everything to her, she wishes to participate in the cooking competition, but she got selected for a highly paid job at her campus interview. Aakaash on the other hand dreaming about being a stand up comedian despite of his father's disapproval. Will Tiasha & Aakaash ever able to chase their dream is the rest of the story.

Tiasha is impulsive and Aakaash is the only person who can handle her. They both love being with each other company. In spite of the fact that I enjoyed their individual character developments, I would have liked to see a significant progress when it came to them as a couple.

Moreover, the writing suffered a lack of detail. The poor word-building, unfortunately, greatly affected my experience with this story. As a curious reader, I longed for more colors and richness of the writing since I didn’t feel I was completely transported and immersed in the story from the start which was slightly disappointing.

All in all Imperfect Misfits is a decent romance, In a story with the author's views in between I felt it impacted in the pace of the story which, despite my issue, I still enjoyed this book, albeit it failed to create a magical connection between the reader & the book, It might not be working for die-hard romance readers, but if the self-discovery, friendship, and something related to food are what you are looking for in stories, you will enjoy this book thoroughly.

Imperfect Misfits is a cute story of Aakash's and Tiasha's friendship and their dreams. The story is so much related to us.Sometimes we get confuse between relationship, friendship and our dream.I think this book will give u a clear idea about that. While reading u will definitely find yourself atleast once in the journey.

Tiasha is a confident girl who never likes to quit but needs support of her parents and her best friend Aakash. With their support she can overcome any hurdle comes her way else she will be confused.(I found myself in Tiasha, because with support of my loved ones I can do anything but without their support I can't overcome a single thing).Aakash is a boy who is always clear about his decisions, whether its a friendship, relationship or a career(well, that's rare).Tiasha wants to be a Chef and Aakash wants to be a comedian. Both chooses their path to fulfill their dreams but in the returns to eachother, their Impetfect Misfits. How they maintained their friendship? How they choose to walk on the toughest path?Well,to know that..you have to read the book yaar.(Sab main hi bata dungi to aap kya padhoge?Jao..jaa k book order karo;))

Sometimes there is nothing much to say about the book but you can feel the book, enjoy the journey. And I really enjoyed this cute journey.

Imperfect Misfits is a story of two best friends who are already in love with each other yet aren't really ready to admit it. The story is about Tiasha and Aakash. Tiasha wishes to become a chef while Aakash wants to become a stand-up comedian. Do they follow their passion or does a need to have a stable job and make money come their way? Do they acknowledge their love for each other?

Starting with the cover, I just loved it. It's cute and relatable. The novel is about teenage love and I believe the cover throws some light on what the story would be.

Best friends turning their friendship into a romantic relationship is a very common plot. The story can be basically sum up in six-eight sentences. What's different is the situations and incidents. I won't say that I loved reading this book. But, enjoyed it. The story seemed very interesting at first. However, it turned a little dull towards the end. I felt that the end was kind of rushed into. I liked the way the author has presented the story i.e. in third person's perspective. She mentions some anecdotes about her own life which I found a bit distracting. It seemed as if I was drifted to some other place and then, all of a sudden brought into Tiasha and Aakash's lives.

The author has crafted the characters - Tiasha and Aakash in a very nice manner. They are adorable. I really loved their determination and hard work towards achieving their dreams. They are inspiring.

My likes-
- Tiasha and Aakash's friendship.
- Their determination and courage to take the path less traveled.

My dislikes
- The picture-perfect setting (I wonder how things can go so well. I remember author mentioning that certain things not only happen in books and movies but happen in real lives as well.)
- The abrupt end.

I rate:
Cover: 4/5
Characters: 3/5
Story: 3/5

My overall rating for 'Imperfect Misfits' is 3/5 stars.

Imperfect Misfits by Devanshi Sharma is a sweet bubbly tale of Aakaash & Tiasha and their friendship. Aakaash aspires to become a renounced stand-up comedian and tiasha always dreamed of becoming a well known chef. Aakaash is always sorted about what he wants and does but Tiasha is always confused between choices. These two even being poles apart but are very good friends no no I must say best friends. But as like most of Indian movies portrayed that a boy and girl can't be just friends, will the same happens with Aakaash and Tiasha? Will their friendship will survive through journey of love? To know more about Aakaash and Tiasha give it a read guys. The author style of narration is unique and the way situations of life were compared with cooking is just lovely and the seek and peep into author's life in btw the story is sweet. The cover and title are very apt to the plot. The best thing I liked about this book is the climax which is beyond my expectations. I suggest this book to all readers and book lovers :)

Imperfect misfits is a story two best friends Akash and Tiasha.
Tiasha is bit confusing at times, on the other hand akash is simple and sorted person.
The plot of story is really good and is really well narrated by devanshi sharma.
This isn't a great novel to read but also not the one that you should miss out it is wonderful light hearted novel to read with friendship and romance plotted together.
Some might get bit confused about storyline but that's the way devanshi sharma writes as her previous one was amazing too (No matter what I do), that is what makes her novel gripping to read till the end.
The cover of book is really beautiful and catchy.
The language is very easy to read with proper grammar and some really good mixture of Hindi words at times.
Overall it is an entertaining read which is worth the time.
I will rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐/🖐️.
Imperfect misfits completely shows the improvement of devanshi sharma as an author from her previous book till this one and I hope next book of her be more amazing then this.
