This book is a comprehensive introduction to social policy in New Zealand including key areas of policy, the history and future of social policy, major theories and concepts, and the techniques and processes of policy analysis.
I had to read this for one my uni papers so I think that might be cheating but.. I actually kind of enjoyed reading this book. Obviously it's a textbook in disguise but it's probably the only 'textbook' that I've read back-to-back without being told to. The style of writing is excellent, and I found it really easy to follow and digest.
a textbook for uni, I read it cause I had too.... social policy has never been my favorite subject so the book may be great but I am just not super interested.
