I continue to go back and read entries from this interactive devotional. If you feel the Lord prompting you to engage more in the prophetic, this is a valuable resource to consider. The journal entry invitations are thought-provoking, inviting the reader to go deep and step into new territory with enough of a roadmap to keep from feeling lost or confused. You won't feel like you are going alone into this new thing.
This book emphasizes journaling and prophetic practice. It was challenging and in the end I probably gained more than I recognized but, at times, I felt frustrated that there’s an assumption that I have spiritual gifts that I don’t, in fact, have.
Like a daily journal, with reflective portions. Shawn Bolz's prose is easy to read. For maximum impact frm this book, it is better to journal as one reads the entries.
