This book by Nick Bruining is the worst book I have read in years. It is superficial and has nothing you cant find yourself or already didnt know. Give it a miss, the only person you are making rich by buying this book is Bruining!

I picked up this book thinking it would help me (I'm in my early 30's) to get clear on where my finances are going and what I need to do for the future. It hasn't helped me at all. Don't be fooled by the colourful pages and pictures, it is still a bunch of jargon. It is not easy to understand and is only catered for those retiring or going into retirement soon. So confusing and irrelevant. Skip this one!

info likely to date... comprehensive for those who don't have their future plans married out, but only a couple of new bits I hadn't picked up elsewhere

Save your money. This is one of the worst books on finance and retirement I have read.

The 2018 updated edition is a good reference for those retiring soon and deals with your finances and superannuation.

Great book for those thinking about retiring. Explains in simple terms how the system works and is all integrated.
