Wicca 334 completes the Master Class in Wicca that began with 2003's groundbreaking Wicca 333: Advanced Topics in Wiccan Belief. Containing twelve new topics and four new "Wicca in Practice" vignettes, 334 is designed for the serious student of Wicca interested in covering controversies, debates and injustices within the religion. Those searching for spells or techniques are not served by this book, which focuses instead on philosophy, Wicca's occasionally strained relationship with other religions and such divisive issues as propaganda and religious imperialism.
Kaatryn MacMorgan-Douglas is the retired leader of the Church of Universal Eclectic Wicca, a retired research laboratory manager, singer, Mom and Widow.
She lives in Central New York where she is currently in the process of a large Folklore project, called FEAST TALES FOR FAMINE TIMES, which can be found under the name MacKenzie Morgan.
She also writes sci-fi under the name D. Douglas Woods.
As with Wicca 333: The content here is pure gold. The writing style is disorganized and overbearing, but I do understand the author's desire to drive home these points that are so often so poorly understood.
A book every Wiccan should read. I do not agree with all of her points however it is a wonderful change from all the Wiccan 101 books out there and really gets you thinking about your beliefs and practices. I appreciate a book that makes me think.
