See You Next Tuesday: The Second Coming

Rate this book
Not only are people all around the world having lots of sex, but they are also writing about it. See You Next Tuesday: The Second Coming is the second compilation of 50 sex-riddled short fictions that try to transcend perhaps the most universal subject in existence. Writing from across the globe, each 1,000-word text promises to evoke and provoke the existential and thoughtful corners of your most erotic of organs (namely the one in your head). In other words, the rumors are true, the waiting has ended: The Second Coming is here!

The editor of this collection, Steven Coy, is a San Diego writer who also edits Better Non Sequitur and Pequin.org. The remaining 49 contributors in See You Next Tuesday hail from Switzerland, South Africa, UK, Iceland, Nigeria, Germany, Canada, China, and The U.S.

This is a super fun collection of short short stories of perverse, inventive, and fantastical styles. Great offerings from J.A. Tyler, Elizabeth Ellen, Chelsea Martin, Blake Butler, and David Gianatasio to name a few. Editor Steven Coy has really assembled a wonderful book here.

There's a semi-political 2-page thing in here about Unicorn Porn . . . Also, a story by Leslie Jamison (among 49 others, one of which is called "Six Flirtations for the Monocled Eye" and another called "Fuck She Was")!

this book rules. of course, i'm biased since i'm one of the "various" authors in it. but seriously, this is erotic writing for the intelligent kind. sex with thematic glory. doing it, but with smarts! it's rad. READ IT
