I'm trying to teach myself how to write a book by reading selected writing books and completing some online courses because it's not in the budget to attend an in-person workshop/retreat/conference at the moment. I read through this book and plan to work through it with a story idea to see if this method will help me achieve finishing writing a book.

I find this incredibly useful. It has really helped me organize my mess of ideas and helped me fill in a few holes. I definitely recommend it to anyone trying to write their first book.
