Amazing work of Historical Fiction related to John Mark, supposed author of the Gospel According to Mark. Finegan assumes that John Mark was the youth in who witnessed the arrest of Jesus on the Mount of Olives, and creates a history of the early years of Christianity, putting Mark through many early events in the church, and going through his legendary martyrdom in Alexandria around the year 60 AD.
