Making finance enjoyable and entertaining is quite the task and this book does just that!

I enjoyed the simplicity and the spiritual growth angle being tied and the financial advice was good.

Just in time for you to add this title to any Kindle and Nook gifts is a book from an author that is less a financial analyst and more of a preacher, which explains both her popularity and the appeal of this book as it's currently ranked #34 in the Amazon Kindle store for Self-help Christian living, which just might gain a wide audience.

The bedrock of the book's teaching system is simple: work hard, pay what you owe and stay out of debt. Her main principle is "Pay cash," and she exhorts the reader to take "baby steps," which are designed to build on each other: first, save an emergency fund; then, pay off all debts from smallest to largest. Dr. Gachie understands the difficulty in putting these steps into action and therefore packs her book with spirituality to help motivate readers.

A must read going into the new year.
