The purpose of Whither Marxism?, is to begin addressing connection between death and communism in Marxism created by Karl Marx. It raises questions in various context. It’s primary goal isn’t to investigate Marxism or defend Marxism in any way but to explore the effects on global crisis and the collapse of communism. According to Karl Marx, the development of Soviet Union is always linked to socialism and democracy. Marxism is a theory of class which defines the concept of class based on different power groupings. In recent Soviet leadership, the ideas of Karl Marx, V.I. Lenin and Joseph Stalin is not a fundamentally a critique of Marx. The “guilt by association” critique of Marx and Marxism fails to recognize Marxian theory. The bonding between Leninism and Marxism is noting more than a historical accident.
