Mostly good grammar notes that are generally better and more in-depth than what I could conveniently find on the internet, and lots of exercises. The good exercises here mostly boil down to “conjugate all of these verbs in X tense 20 times” while the bad exercises, of which there are many, I felt actively got in the way of engaging with the grammar. A common type of these were fill-in-the-verb exercises, but they don’t tell you the verb to use. So you can either guess and conjugate the wrong verb, then look up the correct conjugation, or look up which verbs they want you to use in the answer key; both approaches kind of defeat the purpose of a (sold separately, expensive) answer key. There were also more than a few exercises that simply had mistakes or seem to have come from past editions. There are also many free-response exercises, which, for self-learners, also kind of defeats the purpose of a grammar textbook.

So, good notes for learning and reference, generally kind of bad exercises. It feels like I spent a lot of time working around the book than directly with it; it's probably a wash in the end since you're still engaging with the language, but not really an ideal user experience for a pretty expensive book.
