A great childrens book charting the life of the famous explorer Thor Heyerdahl, told in a simplistic way to make history easy for kids to understand the book follows his life from his origins in Norway upto his exploits in travel and exploration.
His aim was to show how people of long ago had traveled the world using only very primitive boats as transport.
Colourful pictures and photographs highlights key points in the narrative.
A great read overall even from an adult's point of view.
