For one magical night, they were Cinderella and the prince. Reunited four years later, billionaire Blake Colton and K9 cop Juliette Walsh are worlds apart, and he is furious to learn that Juliette’s secret daughter is his. But with danger closing in, Blake and Juliette must risk more than their rekindling passion to have a future with their child.

COLTON’S CINDERELLA BRIDE adds a bit more intrigue to the ongoing threads woven throughout this series. A second chance at love and a secret baby reveal will turn lives upside down once again in Red Ridge.
While I enjoyed Blake and Juliette’s romance and one adorable little girl, Pandora, I found myself being angry at and frustrated by Blake throughout this story. He’d made it very clear on their one and only magical night together that marriage and children were not a part of his future, ever. I understood Blake’s sudden life-changing discovery that he has a beautiful daughter and that he’s lost years of experiencing her life firsthand — yet, also I understood Juliette’s decision to not contact him as he had made his opinions crystal clear years ago. For me, there was no right and no wrong decision, only doing what seemed best at the time and living with the consequences of that decision.
Juliette was a capable, talented K-9 police officer whose work getting drugs off the streets was vital to her community. Blake’s constantly shadowing her, telling her to not do her job to walk away and let him keep her and their daughter safe far away from Red Ridge put them both in so much danger and yes, angered and frustrated me. I have to admit that I was totally on Juliette’s side in this romance and Blake’s eventual understanding of what made Juliette complete in her work was a bit too little too late for me. But she loves him, and I’m content with that… no one says I have to love every hero as much as the heroine does.
The action is fast-paced, the mystery deepens and one couple finally finds their happy ending in COLTON’S CINDERELLA BRIDE.
It was okay, but could have had more passion include...Here is a highlight from the book...
“It wasn’t then. But when I came back and found you and Pandora...” He swallowed hard again. She reached for the cup of ice chips a nurse must have left next to his bed. But when she held out the spoon, he waved it off. “You and Pandora made Red Ridge home for me,” he said. “And I do want you to marry me.” “Why?” she asked. While she’d professed her love, he’d made no declarations of his own. “Because I love you,” he said. “I think I’ve loved you since that night when we conceived Pandora.” “That was a magical night,” she agreed. “I felt like Cinderella. And you were my Prince Charming.” “Prince Charming gets Cinderella in the end,” he reminded her. “This is no fairy tale,” she said. She’d stopped believing in happily-ever-afters long ago—when she’d lost her mom. But then she remembered her saying that everything had happened for a reason. That reason wasn’t just Pandora now. Blake was that reason, too. “We don’t have to make it official,” he said. “I just need to know that you will marry me. I love you so much...” She loved him too much to tell him yes. She loved him too much to risk losing him again.
I found another one. In this one I meet Blake Colton and Juliette Walsh. Its neat how it starts. A child witnesses a murder. But the child belongs to Juliette who has never told the father. When daddy finds out talk about a shock! Its neat how Lisa adds her own idea to the story and the dreaded "groom killer". We have more people engaged in secret than..... Hmm. This is getting interesting. I wonder in the end are they going to have one big wedding? But the Cinderella part was a good idea. For people don't always notice people who do the jobs that are cleaning or housekeeping. I liked how she draws you into the story with the new killer. But still have the "gk" still going strong. Looking forward to the next book I find.
Another in the Coltons of Red Ridge, in which the Groom Killer remains at large and now a second killer is in town, one seen by Juliette Walsh's 4-year-old daughter. But what really turns her life upside down is the appearance of Blake Colton, the man who doesn't know that Juliette's daughter is his! He declared he never wanted children or marriage that fateful night when she became pregnant, but has he changed his mind after seeing little Pandora? But if he doesn't also love Juliette, there is no way she will let him be a part of her life or that of her daughter. And now that they are being stalked by the killer, Juliette has a job to do--if it doesn't kill her.
So, who is going to be hurt first--the killer, Blake who insists on trying to protect her, Juliette or her little girl?
I love it! I give a lot of five star reviews, but this one felt pretty earned. The passion. The romance. The suspense. The plot twists. Ah, just *chefs kiss*. And the love as it grew just made me feel really single. Juliette is everything I’d want to be, and Blake is everything I would actually live with. This book is amazing, and a nice read to get out of a reading rut.
I liked this book's storyline. I liked the action in this story. I liked Juliette's character. I liked Blake's character. I loved ❤️ Pandora & Sasha 🐕. I liked the ending.
