Trial two and Gunnar is ready for anything. His dreams have turned up a feisty slip of a woman with tricolored hair who is wild, sexy and beyond anything he can imagine, and more than he ever thought he deserved. But he knows that with the good comes the bad and his trial is going to be anything but easy.
Sadie Coutler never thought she would find a man that she wanted, let alone could handle her. Gunnar is everything she has ever wanted, since the moment her grandmother told her she was destined for something special. She loves that he likes who she is. Her focus is to be with him forever, his ride or die.
But bonding is proving difficult, no matter how hard they try. As with everything else in Gunnar's existence its going to happen the hard way. When Savannah is thrust into a battle of biblical proportions, its up to both of them to se the city and each other through. Because without the bond the world will be sucked into darkness and there will be nothing anyone can do.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! The characters slew me. Gunnar Bergman is a big brute of a guy who has never had to woo a woman to his bed. But he wants this one in his heart and he is going to have to work at it a bit harder than normal. But life for him and his brothers in arms is anything but normal right now. Sadie Coulter is a petite unique individual. She is an artist with tattoo’s, piercings and multicolored hair. She owns her body and her heart but the big guy is making her feel like she might want to share. Sadie made this book for me. She is kick ass take no prisoners. She can definitely handle Gunnar. I liked that Gunnar accepts her for who she is and enjoys her fighting alongside him. Having been to Savannah Georgia several times I am thrilled that the authors made the grand old lady a character in this book. This book deals with dark times but isn’t a dark read.
Gunnar. I’m actually at a loss to explain how much I love Gunnar and Sadie. I will say I spent the whole book picturing Gunnar as that dude from Game of Thrones. This helped with the hotness factor. I’d like to find my very own Mountain. I loved the first book in this series, but this book had everything I love. The snark was strong and Zombies(seriously awesome). I’m not very patiently waiting for the next book.
I enjoyed this one much more than the first (so much building!), but I liked Gunnar from the start. I don't know if it's because of his "viking" description, but that just did it for me. Again we have strong men with their equally strong women and nothing is going to get in their way of saving Savannah, even if zombies try to crash the party.
Well I am still interested in where the series is going. Im not sure i loved this book. It was too similar to the first in how the "female" was found. And the specific twist of her history was too quickly passed by. I am still continuing with the series because I am interested but I did not like this book.
This book is HOT!!! I love how little Sadie can tame the mountain man Gunnar... Love the banter between all the characters and of course you add the end of the world with zombies!!! .... This series is awesome and you will be on the edge of our seat waiting to see what happens next.
Trial 2 and Gunnar is up for the task but is his mate? Sadie best friends with Maggie finds out that the destiny her grandmother told her she was destined for is to help save the world. When Gunnar and Sadie meet everything falls into place but can the bonding be completed before evil takes Sadie ? I loved this book and these authors are phenomenal. I couldn't put this book down.
