Color and b&w photographs are largely of works in public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Includes biographical material on each artist.

This has a good introduction that gives some background on the time period, art education, exhibitions, and the artists to be featured in the rest of the book. Each artist has a brief biography (8-10 pages) along with some examples of their work. Nicely put together with a list of the locations of the works illustrated and a pretty thorough bibliography for those looking to dive deeper into any of these artists. My personal favorites from this group are Jo Davidson, Abastenia Eberle, Harriet Frishmuth, Malvina Hoffman, Paul Jennewein, Josef Korbel, Edward McCartan, Frederick MacMonnies, Paul Manship, and Attilio Piccirilli. 4.5
