This book is a good book to use during a science lesson for kids in grades 1-3. I loved how the pages resembled something you would see in a magazine. It includes fun facts, big font, bright text boxes, and lots of images. I think that all of those aspects will pique the interest of a child and excite them to learn about the crazy things that can happen on planet earth. It includes many questions that students at that age may already be asking their teacher, such as how did dinosaurs go extinct, or why do beaches have so much sand.
