'In Memoriam' provided some advice and samples when planning a secular service which proved very helpful for writing my father's funeral, an agnostic. It's okay to branch out from the religious order and provide a service worthy of applause and ending with a toast to a man who missed his calling as a comedian. This book gives the grieving permission to personally eulogize our loved ones for what they were, not what the church expected of them or promises to them.
