I have read the previous anthology from Michael Terence and enjoyed it immensely, yet this one happens to be even better than the last.
The quality and diversity of the stories is astonishing, you never know what to expect from one story to another as there is no dominating theme, well they do have one thing in common and it's the enjoyment they all bring.
I finished this book pretty quickly even though i would recommend you take your time with it to enjoy each story separately, but my curiosity isn't something that would allow me to do that.
My favorite stories here are: ( the order of this list is based on the placement of the stories in the book)
Turkish delight, this one was very lighthearted story about a gay couple and what unfolded between them, it made me wish it could be turned to a short movie as the scenes were very clearly brought into my head.
Days, this one.. just wow, it's a basically a story with a groundhog day theme but with a cynical feel into it, no words will do it justice, it needs to be made into a book of its own.
the wish carver, well it deserved to be in the top 3, it was so well written and i would love it if it was longer, it's a story about a woman who had the chance to make a special kind of deal that granted her a do over in life, and the consequences that came along with it.
Standing awkwardly in rooms, let's just say this is about being into a woman's head, i loved the use of words and how they portrayed her intimate thoughts and feelings.
I will stop here, I liked many others but if i continue it will be a pretty long list, i would recommend this book, not only because it was good but also because it was one of my very first books from this year and it gave me the push i needed to make me read as much as i used to before .
