Moving on, the book will focus on Kubernetes and its features and you will learn to deploy a Java application to Kubernetes using Maven and monitor a Java application in production. By the end of the book, you will get hands-on with some more advanced topics to further extend your knowledge about Docker and Kubernetes. Here you'll find really great content about Docker. There are good code samples that helps to start working with it on Java apps by using modern tools.

Kubernetes chapters suffers from a lack of good examples.

Still worth to read if you are looking for consolidating knowledge about Docker and orchestration since it covers most of the Kubernetes essentials, even with a poor set of practical demonstration of orchestration context.

started well but kuberenetes chapters require some good examples. docker parts are very good though.

The docker part of this book was great , however as I was not as interested in Kubernetes so I did not get as much from that part of the book
