I saw Richard Galazka and Allie Croker give superb performances of this play in the small studio at the Keswick Theatre by the Lake.

Actually the book description does not match the book at all. It is set in the early 2900’s and follows the Dawson family through great tragedy and wAr. Very well written with many twists and turns.

A brutal story of alcoholism. A couple is put to the test as alcoholism ravishes their lives both singular and plural. Miller creates an an affecting plot all too realistic. The reader understands the damage of alcohol as well as its many tests such as strength and sensitivity. A heartbreaking love story with a quasi visceral ending.
