The debut novel of K.L. Bryant rings with romance and healing. The age-old story of the fates weaving two souls together for a purpose neither of them knew they needed until they did.

After the friends and family all leave, Clark finds himself alone, grappling with the loss of his Gram. For thirty years she was his rock. Faced with what life looks like without her, he seeks comfort in her secret hideaway. There, he discovers an envelope addressed to him in. Inside is a letter bestowing her final request - for Clark to uphold the reservations she made for him at the Emerald Estate in Windville, an idyllic town nestled along the coast of Maine. There he is to meet her friend, and the owner of the estate, Kat McNamara. What happens when Clark arrives at the estate is a series of fated exchanges that alter Clark's life and allow him to embrace the rippling effects of unconditional and everlasting love.

CLARK EVANS is a story that reminds us all that love never dies; it lives on in each of us.

Suspenseful, but also heartwarming. I especially loved the grandmother - I felt like I got to know her as a real person and wished she was part of my family! The descriptions of the setting make it come alive so you feel you're there. Great story, interesting characters.
