This is a collection of essays/speeches by giants of structural engineering in UK and Europe, including Fritz Leonhardt, Edmund Happold and Jorg Schlaich. As a student of civil and structural engineering, I found this to give me the most clear and truthful view of what structural engineering is -which hundreds of lecture hours and theory learnt failed at.
