An alphabet of southern colonial pastimes. It goes through the alphabet and tells a story for each letter with a background of such cheerful, airy scenes.

This would be a good book to use in a preschool or kindergarten class to teach the alphabet. You could have the kids make their own alphabet book and create their own sentences and paintings that go with it.
