this poems pour out on the page. I couldn't give it a 4 or 5 rating because at times the language was too abstract--lots of talk of "soul" and how the soul is affected. I appreciate the intensity and the attention to women and women's bodies. The poet is definitely worth looking up on Youtube. The poems are really performance oriented.
