I did this study with the ladies in my small group. The study had four parts with a video for each part. We watched the video and then discussed the questions from the book. The questions were thought provoking and really got our group talking, especially the subject of money. I learned a lot about myself and my fears. And I am much more cognizant of them. I have made some changes in my mindset and with practice, I believe they will be better for me and my family with benefit. Overall, great study with small amount of reading each day for four weeks.
It was just a little bit to out there for me. I have to have a to do list. She walks a line that I can't attain. I am sure this is a great book for some out there, I tried for three months to to it...
I read this with my Bible study group. It was a nice and easy way to take a look at the things we are letting control our time and energy, therefore taking away our "breathing room". The videos were helpful and I enjoyed hearing Sandra's stories.
So, so good! This was exactly what I needed in this season. It was eye opening to see how much of my life has been run by fear. Through this study, I realized that fear was writing my to-do list, and I was allowing myself to become a slave to that list. After this study, I feel refreshed.
Loved that it had a video component to it. I enjoyed the activities associated with each day. I also enjoyed that it was broken down into 4 sections to working on giving your life more breathing room. A great devotional for moms and non-moms alike.
