Drawing on the experiences and lessons of over forty years working in reconciliation, in Northern Ireland, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, Peter B. Price explores what it means to respond to the biblical call to ‘seek peace … and pursue it’ (Psalm 34:14). What is required of Christians today in the light of the increasing number of wars, insurgencies, holocausts and genocide, is a deeper understanding of what true peace making costs, and an answer to the ‘Can Christianity continue to sanction war?’
This is a very challenging read as Price relates his experiences of being involved in peace making and tries to identify the things that lead to peace.
