Although this is considered one of the standard books to read when studying for hte boards, I found it not as helpful as expected. It does have a number of mnemonics and associations, but studying this hard core is not going to help you pass the boards. My suggestion-read this once, and then go through the Zitelli Atlas and go to UCLA board review.
The book taught me how to take the exam and what tricks to watch out for. As someone who isn't a great test taker, I did find these tips helpful. Does need to be supplemented with other study materials, but I thought it was a good overall review.
Was told this is a must to read. I knew this wasn't the type of book I find useful. I went through it and didn't find it useful and used the Cleveland Clinic Review book which I also don't really recommend. Questions from prep are probably currently the best resource.
