June 27, 2019I chose this book for Rowynn because of her interest in dogs and series books. Since the Iditarod is a dog race, I thought she may enjoy it. This book is also part of a Scholastic book series titled If You Were A Kid... where the authors have blended fiction with nonfiction as they take the reader through American History. This book was one of the recommended books on Alaska's Battle of the Books Award for 2019-2020 according to titlewave.com.
