The last in the series of the Colorado books, The Twelve Days of Summer in Colorado not only teaches about the people of Colorado, but also showcases many animals that live here. It is a spin off of the Twelve Days of Christmas poem and gives detailed information about the people who built Colorado. The illustrator created beautiful illustrations which build on each other through out the book. Each picture adding on to the previous one.
