I read this book a long time ago when I was still in medical school in 2005-2010 (so most likely its older version). Definitely a must-read textbook for medical students, junior physicians, or medical doctors.

As a student, I consider a reference book great when it is student-friendly and when the details are enough for a particular subject. Although I have learned a lot from using this book, it tends to complicate a lot of topics that aren't really that hard to understand. Most of of the time, instead of helping the students easily get the topic, the concept maps/charts confuse us even more.
I actually like this book because I love Biochemistry. There are just a lot of things that can be done to improve it. I just hope that improvements be made on the next editions.
