If your a practitioner or researcher that works with radiation this is a good reference book. Definitions are explained such as absorbed dose, rad, gray, dose equivalent, quality factors, rem, sievert, etc. How to calculate exposure, shielding and airborne concentrations are covered. A good all round book for the person working in the radiation field.
