This guide gives detailed cultivation instructions for a wealth of plants with an emphasis on organic methods. The book discusses both the firm favourites and the exotic salad vegetables. A wide-ranging selection of salad recipes is included, as is an index of over 200 plants. The book is environmentally friendly, demonstrating how to work with nature. Comprehensive appendices concentrate on safety, pests and diseases and plant lists. There are also suggestions for gardens of all sizes and budgets, from the tiny kitchen garden through to the expansive formal garden.
1984 book, but it had some good information and fabulous pictures of many plants, which is very useful. Would consider buying if could find cheaply and used.
