In studying these specimens, an examination was made of the cranial structures, cutting spades, appendages and body measurements, color and texture of the skin, and distribution. Tadpoles of several species were studied, but since so little material was available, only a brief reference to this study is included here. Much remains to be done in carefully studying the larval stages of the several species. From my study of the immature forms. 1 am convinced that a great deal can be learned concerning the range and relationship of the various species through an investigation of this kind.
